The Fountain Faerie wants me to find a Blue Draik Egg. Yikes!

I know these things are hyper-rare and totally pricey (in excess of 1.7 mil at the TP). Should I abandon this quest or should I keep letting it run until I somehow get the blasted thing? (I'm currently trying to earn NP for a Baby PB).

If I do choose to abandon it, can someone define what they mean by not being able to do a quest for "a short time"? How short is this "a short time"?

The "short time" is 10 minutes.

It really depends what you want out of the FF if you do the quest or not... I'd only do it if the color you're shooting for is more than 1.7m, lab ray/FF only, or you are a die-hard avatar collector and you're desperate for the buzzin avatar. Other than that, I'd reject.

Oh, goodness, 10 minutes? That's no big deal. Thanks! I'll tell the Fountain Faerie thanks, but no thanks. ^_^

I'm relatively new to this quest thing, though I've had an account on Neopets for a VERY long time (only really started playing a few months ago). Are the Fountain Faerie quests ALWAYS this difficult? I've done a few for some of the other faeries that haven't been too bad.

My Fountain Faerie quest cost only like 9k. It all random, like Illusen, so you get what you get.

Just make sure you go back to the quest page after 10 minutes, or else you won't get anymore faerie quests until you do.
