If you really haven't done anything at all yet, you should start by playing pyramids, as you apparently just did. When the game is over and you collect your winnings, a piece of parchment will appear at the bottom of your screen. This piece of paper tells you which door to look for. It's the door with the shape, color and symbol mentioned underneath the single dot. When entering through this door, you will find your first part of the tablet.
There are two ways now for finding the right door: the first thing is just to visit your tomb and to look around, clicking away randomly while looking for the right door, but this approach might take hours without any result. The best thing to do is to map out your whole temple. This way you'll get a great overview and you'll find all the doors you need in no time! (there's some good examples of maps in the first post)

But in my temple there are only 3 rooms and none of the doors match the parchment.

The doors in those rooms will either lead to traps, a library, the statue, or to more rooms with doors

Oh I kinda get it now. How do you know which ones lead to another room? The ones without symbols on them?

*sigh* I'm totally confused. All this blows over my head. What am I suppost to do? I go to the temple, but nothing I do leads me to anything other than traps.

I feel so lost right now and no one is willing to help me

maybe I should give up. I haven't been following the discussion anyways and now it's too late. I can't do any activities regarding flash, unless I relog on using internet explorer.

The blank, black rectangles with no symbols are hallways. Those will lead you to more sets of rooms in your temple. Make sure to map it, or you'll have trouble finding what you need. There ends up being roughly 85 rooms, give or take.

Yes, the ones that just look like a black hole in the wall are doors to other rooms... And you may or may not have noticed that there's probably arrows to at the sides of the room. Clicking one of these will get you into a communicating room, so there's basicly a couple of rooms in one hallway (although there are some hallways that consist of only one room, so there won't be any arrows there...)

(hope that made any sense...)

You don't need to do flash, the plot doesn't involve it. Read the first post all the way through- it describes in detail what you need to to.

As for traps- stop clicking on doors. Unless you get a serious stroke of luck, you'll not find anything you need that way, and get locked out constantly. You need to follow hallways- the black doors with no symbols.

I think you'll find alot of us are willing to help you if you can think of specific to ask. The grey rectangles without symbols are hallways, not doors. Use them to go to other rooms in your temple.

But of course if you prefer to whine, please go in a corner and do it quietly.

What do you mean? Of course people are willing to help. Quite a few people have given advice to people just starting out just on this page of the thread.

First thing you do: talk to the fortune teller. She should give you the first clue (which is in the text on the first page of this thread).

Then play Pyramids to get your first parchment.

You need to go to the door with the color, shape, and symbol indicated under the single dot on the parchment. (The single dot means "1" and you know it's "1"you need because this is the first clue.)

In order to do this you'll probably have to map your temple. The doors that look colored shapes all lead to traps (except 1). The ones that look like holes in the wall lead to other rooms. The arrows let you scroll from side to side in "chains" of rooms.

Go through the door on the parchment, get the tablet bit, put it in the tablet, get new parchment (go to the door under the "2" this time). Lather, rinse, repeat.

Unless something spectacular happens this weekend (seem unlikely) you should have time to catch up.

Ok thanks everyone I get it now! Would Microsoft Excel be a good way to plot everything? Also since I clicked on a trap a few hours ago does that mean I have to wait 12 hours?

ah, the Pyramids game. That's the step I'm missing. I don't even know how to play it. My sister played it once on my account, but I've never played it.

Edit: Crap.
