Ditto. I went last night and now I'm still unable to retry.

I went a few hours ago, found the library, chose a scroll. I'm trying again, and now the temple's not even a link. I can't get in at all.

The pic for people who just want to make sure I haven't miscounted ;) (I was one of them when I heard the rumour :P)

I think I may have kinda proved your theory. This link is a gallery of some one (it was in this form earlier) http://www.neopets.com/gallery/index.phtml?gu=duke_of_mildew. If you hover over the scroll its desciption is some thing like " Here you might never be heard from again." Well since the scrolls name has 'winter' in it, I went to Terror Mountain, then to the Snowager, and then to his/her/its neopedia article. In this, it says, "Gradolf decided to head back, while Kendrak, undaunted, went forward. He was never heard from again." A coincidence?

Just so you know, the temple loops. I got places where literally, I was walking in circles.

Yeah I noticed this too and decided to make a map but It's gonna take a while to complete >.>

After 12 hours .... my temple has decided to open up again. Yay! :)

I read a scroll with a yellow seal and a fish symbol on it the first time I made it to the library ... so I decided to search around for a door that was yellow with a fish on it. (since I had supposedly gained some insight)

Finally found it ... but it was just a trapped room. Guess I get to bail water out of my room for awhile. :)

Does anybody have some map or instructions to find the library? I'm just walking around in circles and not getting anywhere. Seeing the same doors over and over again is getting a bit frusterating.

Umm well I'm currently making a map but I haven't found any library doors o_O

Cards

Sat Sep 03, 2005 7:47 pm

Check out this card- http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a45/av ... 4/wand.gif

In that card it says "The footsteps behind her were much louder now. She had to find the wand soon or everything would be lost."

And this card where the king has what may be "the wand"- http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a45/av ... /wand1.gif It says "...and the spirits sand and danced all night. The curse would soon be broken." So, mabey SHE put the curse on whatever and doesn't want it to be broken.

And this card - http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a45/av ... 4/card.gif - could be stating that we have a limited amount of time to help her get the want back by filling out the tablet! So mabey, if the surse is broken them the Sakhmet will be gone forever!

Mabey this is description-here you may never be heard from again- quote "never be heard from again" when and if Sakhmet disapears without the wand if the curse is lifted..

i was going through the lost desert trading cards to see if i could find clues. card #2 Desert Ruins says "The once proud empire of Qasala has long since crumbled into the sand" this led me on a search for more to do with Qasala when i came across #64 sceptre of qasala and #92 Qasalan Tablets. The image wouldn't load for the Qasalan Tablets card so i tracked on down on the internet and found out that it says "If the tablets were correct, the prince that had followed to the ruined city was...nearly a thousand years old." and in the comic it says that he is "Prince Jazan the fourth, ruler of Qasala" then there is card #26 the forgotten promise which says "i here by decree a royal wedding between my daughter, the first princess of sakhmet, and his highness, the prince of qasala" on card 33 Royal Wedding Ring there is a picture of the princess trapped in a ring and it says "in 3 days and 21 hours...you'll be mine" which leads me to believe the princess is going to be kidnapped and we'll have to rescue her...then on card 40 Vanishing city it says "this time it wasn't a mirage. Sakhmet had vanished off the face o Neopia" which will probably lead to us having to find a way to get the city back..there are a lot of other "clues" in the cards but it all may just be speculation

as much as i hate the neoboards, i had to trawl them for hints :) . People are saying that there are 12 nuria statues each with a different symbol (not having an url i cant check that out)

My thinking is that the riddle corresponds to a) the library and b) the scroll you have to read. I think that reading the right scroll will give you a prophecy. You would then have to go through the right coloured door to get to the statue and input the prophecy then you will be rewarded with a tablet piece. I am assuming that after that you would get a new riddle for a new piece. just my opinion

All this of course falls apart if the neoboarders are fibbing :D

I just went to the temple for the second time today and realized that something changed. The first time I went, the sky was dark blue, like at night. This time, the sky is orange and there is a sun. Has anyone else seen that the picture changes?

I haven't once seen a library door and I've spent quite a bit of time in there... I started mapping, too, but that gets old fast. Maybe if I figure out a more efficient method it would help. I've now had my pet turned into a pile of sand twice and am no nearer to solving any puzzles. :x

Has anyone checked to see if everybody gets the same doors? I think it's the same ones for me every time I go in, but I can't be sure yet. Anyway, the one I've got recorded as being first is (from the left) an open door, a black triangle with a paw symbol, an open door, a green triangle with a cartouche symbol, and a red oval with a wavy symbol.

Mayanspypilot, I hadn't noticed that, but I'll be sure and check next time I'm allowed in.
