I just now defeated Scuzzy and I'm at the very beginning of the Lost Desert on Normal. All my characters are at lvl 30. Should I level up some or am I fine for right now?

I'd say you're fine... if you keep going on hunting you should always be on the right level.

Finally finished InSaNe and got Bow of Destiny.

Now to play Evil dozens more times :)

Which reminds me, over on the IDB forums, there's a thread about using Father's sword against Terask 2 and doing 180 damage on critical hits. Several screen shots have been posted, and i'm going to try this myself on Evil.

These screenies are from two different people over there. :)

Completed evil about two days ago, and got scuzzys comb-doing over 50 dmg with it and my scarb ring in the bd. :P

Fizzy-that fathers sword trick is going ALL around the neoquest board on neopets, you won't belive how often people post asking if its true or not...
I've seen more then enough screenies, and "seen" people use it while there posting play-by-plays on the board, to know its true. Sort of little easter egg. I've vowed never to use fathers sword though-thats like using cheat codes to beat a game IMHO. :P

They even told you to use Father's Sword elsewhere. Check the SoA description. Father's Sword is just there to be a neat little trick. You can still miss. If it's like a cheat, then so be it - all I care about is my Ramtors Spellbook.

It works on Insane as well. Not sure about Nornal yet, but it's quite possible.

I know the advice is late, but you're fine. Level 30 is what I always end Act 2 on, and I do very well in Act 3.

Ooh...I'll have to try that Father's Sword thing the next time I play Evil. I'm in the Haunted Woods right now, and it's been awhile since I played.

The "or is it?" part? o.o

It works on Normal; I know that for sure.

Is there any point to getting the better wand in Lakeside(?) once I've got Mipsy?
My current wand says 4 dmg, and the cardboard wand does 6 dmg, but does that affect direct damage, or just Melee attacks?

Beware about Father's Sword - there's a rumor that it is or will soon be downgraded.

There's no real point to buying wands for Mipsy, because the regular ones only affect melee damage. Just use the ones you pick off bosses (or occasionally off enemies if you're on Evil or Insane).

I beat Terask II on Insane! Yay, I'm so proud of myself.
Actually, I found him quite easy. He didn't put up too much of a fight, I just used haste and damage potions (I just realized now I forgot about my slowing potions), and had Velm waiting instead of attackng so he could heal when he needed to. It was a bit touch-and-go at the end when Terask KO'd Velm, but Terask only had about 750 hp left, and I had over a hundred healing potions.

I found Terask I harder really, since I wasn't using potions and had about a dozen skill points to spend on all of my characters (two dozen on Talinia). I didn't want to spend them until I was at level 60 and knew everything Terask was resistant to so I wouldn't be wasting any. I pretty much raised all of my characters for the express purpose of beating Terask II. And I did. On Insane. I'm so proud of myself. See my shiny trophy (it's at the bottom).

I think I'm going to start over on normal mode after I get the NQI avatar and try the father's sword thingie.

I clicked this link (from the first post in this thread), and got strange pop-ups and then my virus program detected a virus. UGH, maybe that link should be taken down? I'm not going to click it again to make sure that was the problem, but those of you daring souls out there might want to check it out.

Nevermind me, I'm all right.
