4 days and no light?

Am I missing something or does the light appear in one of the 8 hours in a day or 8 consecutive hours in a day?

Has anyone tried the subtracting theory and added white to the spaces? So instead of skipping a symbol, it would be white instead? And maybe we would not use the four colors that were repeated.

Example, my set would be
1st crystal
brxxbryrxbryxyby
2nd crystal
bpxxgpopxgrgxygy

differance
bbwwybrbwyrbwyyy (keeping all the colors)
or
xbwwybrbwyxbwxyx (not using the 4 repeated colors)

I know using white in place of the repeated colors was suggested and tried. But I don't remember seeing this, so thought I'd ask. If no ones tried then I'll give it a try.

I tried it using white for the repeated colors thinking that they stayed the same because the second crystal had white in those spaces. The only problem I see with doing it your way is, if the blank spaces on the second crystal are white, wouldn't they have also been white on the first crystal?

I'm thinking the same thing, but I can't seem to think of anything else at the moment. And the first one seemed to focus on just the primary colors, where the second one seems to be about the rest of the colors.

Ok the second crystal name is tri so I think it only has three colors in it. If mine has white, that would make it 4? I don't know anymore. The third crystal is called same. Does that mean it is the exact same as the second? I sure hope not because if we cant figure it out once, how will we figure it out twice.

I can't recall the url of the image without the spots though, if you really want to know, just discard your second crystal and get your first one again?

all the mixing and unmixing of colors has me pulling my hair out. Am I right in saying that if you put a third crystal on top of the other two and it is the same as either one of the first two, the colors stay the same?

The light comes on every 8 hours, and stays on for 1 hour at a time. The times the light comes on is different for different people, and there doesn't seem to be any consistent pattern to predict what time your light will come on. You have probably been trying during the 21 hours a day that your light isn't on.

I don't think anyone has already found out what to do to find the third one, it's just the image that has been found already (I think Plagatus had it as his avatar, but I don't know if he was the first one to really find it too)

Well, after finding the 3rd crystal's URL, I messed around with other words to add after crystal_, but I couldn't find anything for the 4th (although I imagine it's out there already...I just can't figure it out).

I bet after you have done what needs to be done with the second crystal you can go back to the chef and get the third one. I bet there is a 4th one out there. The holes on the bottom are probably an indication that there is something else that sits on top of it.

im tired, im annoyed wiht the dang basement n firstfloor cos thats were all my scrolls are and never in sections near each other and i aint finding anything that works, or im messing up bigtime somewere along the way, highly possible since im way overtired but ggggrrrr

I don't know if anyone has the third crystal yet. If someone knew how to get it for sure, there'd be a split and the instructions would be at the bottom of the first post.

Either (a) we're missing something, or (b) the next piece hasn't been released. I'm inclined to think (b) because people have been trying the permutations of the scrolls based on what we know. In that case, well, sit back and watch the Wet Paint dry
