Nah, don't try each door, waste of time, you'll fall into traps all the time. Just go around the corridors mapping what doors you see. First off, go see the fortune teller and she will tell you 'I see ancient pharaohs laid at rest.' That's her way of telling you you should play pyramids. ;) On the win screen, you ought to get a parchment with a combination of dots, door shapes, colours and symbols. Look at the column under one dot- that's the door you have to find first.

I just can let go....

new theory? What if we should translate the tablet by using the scrolls in the repository?

I mean if we can figure out what colours and shape scroll go with each symbol and then read the scrolls according to our tablet?

Just throwing out ideas here. I cant seem to work today, my head is all up in this plot...

If my calculations are correct, thats at least 13800 posts :o You lot have definately been busy :P I don't really understand the whole temple thing - is the basic idea to try each door, mark which ones are traps, and move through the temple until I find a library or a statue?

Nope... what you do is map where the hallways go.

If that's what your parchment says, yep. It's different for everyone so I can't help you much.

Once you find it, you'll fall into a trap...BUT you'll also get a dirty piece of the tablet. The rest is pretty much all in the first post. I found the beginning confusing too... :P

So far I have gone thru every rack twice on floors 1,2,4,5,and the basement and halfway thru 3 again.Thought I had missed it somewhere but I think it is really missing. Maybe one of the secret stairs will open up some more rooms and all the missing scrolls will be there. Another thought...what if you have to read the scrolls in a specific order to open up the rooms that might hook up with LC??? o_O

I had trouble finding blue fer as well. Then Ian had told me he found one on the 3rd floor. I know our repo's are different, however after getting his advice, I went back to the 3rd floor (upper right) and sure enough, there was the blue fer I was looking for. And yes, the ONLY one in the whole temple.

good luck! Let us know if you find it and where it was hiding!

You mean the temple? I mapped it and it helped alot. there are 288 gem doors and three libraries in the temple. You have to find the 12 hieroglyphs, you faerie and the library with your scroll. If you think you can manage without mapping, then dont do it. But I think that can be hard.

I think this might hold some promise, certainly can't hurt. Read the scrolls at the repository in the order of our tablet, based on the colors/scroll shapes of the "special" scrolls.

Does anyone have pics of the "special RE scrolls?" Then we can see what colors they are and what shape scroll they are.

here's the list...

set Royal Proclamations of Coltzan Vol 13 Here you might find a hunter or cup

ben Sand Cuisine for Elephantes Here you cannot tell one path from the next

nem Decorating With Sand - Winter Quarterly Here you might never be heard from again

djo Desert Petpets: A Cautionary Tale Here you might weather a deadly flood

ahn The Joy of Burnt Desert Food Here you can navigate by points of light

ra Desert Tent Zoning Regulations Here you can look ages into the past

lat The Chemical Properties of Sand Here you could be terribly lost

tep History of the Sakmet Dynasty Vol 3 Here you could sail from lake to sea

saf Ruki Population Survey Vol 5 Here you could wander with no end in sight

kha Famous Sand Collections Here you can see suns far away

kar Edible Desert Foliage Vol 9 Here you can take a cool drink

fer Desert Survival Skills for the Dim-Witted Here you will find rushing rapids

No i meant the scrollery..where the scrolls are kept..with the yurble foreman.

I'm not sure whether to put down the location of each and every kind of scroll in case it might be needed in the future.

Yes, thinking about it makes it more clear. When we had all the tablet pieces we could click in the comic in the right order of the tablet to revela the prophesy. then the FT says maybe we can figure something else from the tablet. Maybe using the repository will reveal another prophesy?

I was just looking at those RE scrolls myselfe. We should try to collect everything we know about each symbol. Which library the scrolls are in, what type of scroll it is in the temple, what colour is the scroll in the temple... Like DJO (my symbol):
Its in the River Library, its a blue, royal scroll (royal? kind of looks royal), and the Desert petpets: A Cautionary tale.....

Then we need to find a way to translate it into the colours and shapes of the scrolls in the repository... Scroll Shape a, b, c, d, e and colours red, orange, purple, yellow, white, green, blue. In the filename for the scrolls it says: /ldp/sr/sc/sr_sc_dodjo.gif
so dodjo means d shape and o colour Orange. maybe it is that simple?

Wed Oct 26, 2005 12:50 pm

Yes Pia!! I think we are onto something!!

http://images.neopets.com/desert/ldp/sr ... _aokar.gif

look at the last part... aokar.gif... that symbolizes scroll shape "a", color "orange", symbol "kar"

the naming is consistent.

I don't know what to do with that information, lol.

But I do think we need to figure out the scroll shapes/colors/symbols of the special scrolls, then seek them out in the repository
