The ray produces a giant flash of light, but Xerophyte doesn't look any different. When it can't even climb the Multi-level Scratching Post you bought it, you realize that malfunctioning lab ray actually decreased its level to: 1

I haven't been very active on PPT of late - I hope to remedy that shortly.
Well, I've been having some rotten luck with the PP Lab Ray lately and decided to leave things to their own devices for a while, hoping the PPLR would calm down from its level decreases and name changes.
I can't find this anywhere on the Shop Wiz or the Trading Post, so I think she's one of the first...course I could be wrong!

Your eyes recover quite quickly after the giant explosion, but that's more than you can say for your Petpet. The Kookith is kind enough to sweep up So-and-so for you and you head home.
Now I have two piles of soot again.
