Ok, guys I'm really confused. I've been reading a day's worth of plot discoveries all at once every night trying to figure out what's going on. I think I missed something because I'm not exactly sure what I'm supposed to be looking for in the temple. I know it's a library and I've been there twice but all I get is that my pet gains insight. What's this about actually reading the scrolls? And the message at the front of my temple hasn't changed after choosing a scroll. And what does the "riddle (trap) room " look like, and where are we supposed to look for the trophy? The library or the riddle room?

I really have read the threads, but I must have missed this information. If there's a link to it, or something please help me find it!

Jasujo's excellent summary appears in the first message on page 1 in this thread.

The riddle: Look for it outside the temple before entering.

No one knows what "insight" you are actually gaining when reading scrolls, that is a mystery.

The trap rooms are all the colored doors in the temple. One of those doors leads to the faerie statue ... use the riddle to help you narrow down which room it is.

Thank you so much, XenaAndGabrielle.. I am usually more up to date with the plots.

THERE WILL BE A WAR HOORAY

Donna, I have seen some people have Tyrannian army points, will you be having a Lost Desert army in this plot and if so, how will you get the points? - Lozandboo
This plot we are doing something different, you will not be able to choose sides, but you will earn points that can be redeemed for great prizes. One way will be through fighting, but that is just one of many...

Ive been following this thread for a while, and I have to say it. To those who did handdrawn maps: Amazing :o
I just finished mapping last night with good old MS Paint, and Im currently running through my corridors in search of silver pentagons. No statue room yet though.
And since I love looking at all the different (and insanely confusing) ways people mapped their temples, Ill post my 5 hours of work too.

A grid method was the easiest for me to understand, so each empty black corridor is labeled to what cell of five doors it leads to.

Neat map! One reason why I can't do it on computer is that I think my machine will fry as the image gets larger.. and I don't have a decent graphics editing tool either..

After going into 7 red rectangular doors.. still no news of that faerie.. with my less than good luck with random stuff I think it'll only appear at the 11th or 12th choice I make.. lol!

Hmm come to think of it all my libraries are pretty deep within too (found 1st and 2nd at about 60 out of 83 rooms and the 3rd only appeared at the 75th room or so).. I wouldn't have found them if I didn't map the temple..

I think yours is the easiest to navigate that I've seen so far, Cerise. :) Mine probably looks insanely complicated to other people, but it works great for me! I thought about doing one in PSP or something, but I felt like I needed to hold it in my hands, so I went the hand-drawn route. And I found nice, easy paths to all my important rooms. The longest one is just six steps from the entrance. :)

I told my faerie statue something about Sakhmet disappearing beneath the sands, by the way, and got kicked out. I really think we need to complete the tablet and get the prophecy before she'll accept anything, though, even if we do manage to hit on the right phrase. Like I said earlier, TNT seems to want each of us to actually do the work this time. I will not be the least bit surprised if everyone's phrase is different, anyway.

After getting over half of mine done, I concur.

Mapping corridors and using coordinating numbers to show movement through door would be the easiest to navigate.

If you group cooridors by length, it would help minimize repeats.

I may change my map!

Similar could be done easily in text (for those without graphic abilities)

I'm a little confused.. I see all this talk about finding statues..

Mine's in one of the first doors though.. is that normal? o..0

This morning I went to Nuria and told her "the prophecy" she didn't appreciate my humour and I got booted out... I'll try to read the scrolls now.

I got my maps uploaded.

5, 6, and 7 are lettered by hallway. 8 was a continuation of a really long hallway (J).

Does anyone that has
"The waking dawn on the dunes
Mouth of the river"
have a temple like mine? I'm sure that would help if the same poem was the same map.

I have been away for a week and I have not started to map my temple yet. Your map looks the easiest to read, but I am sort of lost. I understand how you got the top row, but as you go through the doors, how do you know what letter the door takes you to? I mean, you have the second door in A 1 listed as Q 1. How do you know it is Q? I see you can scroll left and right, but you cant scroll up and down, so I just cannot figure out how you know what letter it is. I know I sound stupid, but I am having a hard time coming into this after most are already done.

The first room was the one you enter in. Then the rooms to the right are the ones that showed up when she clicked the arrows. All the other levels (If she did it the same way I did), are in no order other than it's the one that got clicked on next. The first hallway I clicked on in level A took me to another level, so I marked that B. I went all the way to the far left room, and mapped out from that room right. When I got to the far right room, I clicked on a hallway. If it made a new level, that became C. Make sense?
