I dunno. It's not like you can search in the sidebar and find the name in any relevent way (you get a yellow Kougra that has nothing to do with this MP). Nothing under that in the Neopedia. There is only one place to find it, and you already have to know it to think about it.

But I concede your point and change it from a name to a title.

Once again my graphics card fails to show anything other than a large black square. could i PM someone to check if I'm on the right lines from the hints?

I'm a tad bit offended by this. I would have posted a hint if I could think of one that didn't give the answer away, but I couldn't, so people chose to ask questions. People did post hints. XenaAndGabrielle posted a good hint if you knew that show. There was another excellent hint, but I won't point it out because it makes finding the answer *very* easy.

No one (that I answered) PM'd for direct hints. They just PM'd to confirm if what they thought was right or not like every other MP we've done. I'd also appreciate if direct hints were not posted. Vague/puzzling hints that get you thinking, but don't directly lead you to the answer are fine, though.

*my apologies* I am sorry if your were offended. I just thought that things were a bit murky. I read through the whole thread three times and saw nothing helpful (You had to really know where to look and I was too stupid for the A team hint) and did not understand what was going on until somebody told me. I also got messaged a lot asking for a hint this time around.

I don't care to give people who message me an unfair advantage. I will usually help soembody who is truly stuck by giving them a hint that is just as hard, but different. I was totally thrown off by what I thought was an obvious hinted subject and totally missed the actual hint in another's message.

I, personally, love a very challenging but direct hint that is not just 'American' and try to stick to neopets whenever possible.
I will think of one and edit my hint again.

Some hints will help some people some of the time.
Other hints help other people at other times.
Unfortunately all hints can't help all people all of the time.

It is sometimes hard to come on after the rush of the search ... to try and follow the board. It really helps if you happen to be here during the search, since it gets you in the right "mind set." I agree, sometimes coming after the fact makes things quite hard to follow. I've missed being around when the mystery pic comes out ... and it can be tough to follow the thread.

I try to come up with clever hints ... unfortunately alot of them are "American" in nature (meaning based on some TV show or some music that I watched as a kid or happen to like). Google is your friend in many of these situations, though.

I don't always hint like that, though ... either. When I can ... I try to base it on Neopets things as well.

OMG this is a first for me. As I was telling someone else i always come in here and can NEVER figure out the clues. If i'm right I swear i'll give the person that helped me something!

Usually the clues help me right away, but I don't get this one. Oh well -- it should end soon and then I'll find out what it is.

Edit: Nevermind; I got it. None of the hints helped me at all, though. I just started randomly looking at an area of the site for the proper colors and found it.

Yes, some clues where very hard to find and others where vague. I guess because it was such a common 'area' to loo through.
