when i visit the quick ref to look at my pets or their stats
my skeith sometimes takes an item from me

last time he took a potion and gulped it down
now he takes blush and devours it
(phew that he didn't put in on ;) )

why does he do it? just randomly or is it because he is hungry or ...?
and does he take good items too?
I searched it up on google and someone had posted a screenshot
of his skeith devouring a codestone :o

so when i visit the quick ref i have to make sure there are no items in my inbox? or what should i do?

i'd be glad if the lab zaps him into another species agian
a skeith with such a name... it just doesn't sound right..

When your skeith is hungry, it'll eat anything from your inventory. You have to kep him fed -- try putting him in the neolodge or something. It's cheap.

Well, your poor skeith is Hungry as are all your pets. Feed them! Then your skeith won't steal things to eat from your inventory. Otherwise...they will eat anything, even petpets.

My skeith once ate an Abominable Snowball!

I really should train myself to not get my hopes up with Neopets because I'll just end up falling harder on the ground... face first!

This is why I make sure that if the lab turns my pet into a skeith, it's in the neolodge. I used to have one that was a rather prolific codestone eater. :P

Pets notoriously eat your items if you don't feed them

Hold onto your seats people... the SL is back.

oh ok I didn't knew that
but I tought it would be because he's hungry.

Good idea of putting him in the neolodge :)

I knew you could feed him everything
but I didn't knew he ate things when you visited the quick ref!

Yep. Mine and my friends old (Now in an ice cube) Grarrl used to eat all our stuff. Was rather partial to codestones! Which made VirtualMetal the buzz very angry :D
So putting him in the neolodge and keeping him happy usually worked. Although I still kept the inventory empty just incase he swiped a petpet. He liked those too. He ate a drackonack. Thankfully he didn't seem to like my nerkmids and lef them alone.

RIP drackonack eating Stephen :(

He'll be automaticly bloated, so that's a good thing;) Just don't put rare items in your inventory.

Well that is why you don't keep expesnive things in your inventory. The most my Skeith has ever eaten is a few codestones and maybe a faerie. I usually just feed him my Tombola junk.

I remember on the news one time they said "Watch what happens when you feed your Skeith cheese"... Does anyone know what happens?
