Yes, I've got another URL: http://www.geocities.com/neoquest_2/

It's a really good site with maps, boss info etc.

My thoughts on Talinia:

I don't think Talinia has any really BAD skills, so it's hard to go wrong with her.

Increased Bow Damage is a must, of course. I also like the Innates -- Melee Haste in particular, but resisting magic attacks is important, too.

Of the three slowing skills -- Shockwave, Ranged Attack, and Slowing Strikes, most people seem to lean towards Shockwave, I guess because when you're facing a group, it affects the whole group at once. Slowing Strikes is probably the most useful of the three against Terask II -- Shockwave rarely affects him. But to really get a lot of benefit out of it you have to hit an opponenet over and over so the Slow builds, which rarely seems to happen with me in normal battles. Ranged Attack is one that everyone agrees seems interesting, but as far as I can tell almost no one actually tries. :-)

Multiple Targets is a pretty common one to get, and a very handy skill to have. I raised it up to Fourth Arrow in my Normal and Evil games and I'm starting to think that the 5 skill points it takes to get from Third Arrow to Fourth Arrow aren't worth it. After all, even if you're facing a group of 4, by the time Talinia's second multiple strike comes around, usually at least one of them is dead. So all those 5 points are gaining you is one extra hit per fight, if even that: how long it takes before Talinia can use her Multiple Targets again depends on how many opponents she aims at. So if you hit 4 opponents with Fourth Arrow, you'll have to wait longer to use Multiple Targets again than you would have if you'd hit 3 of 4 with Third Arrow.

If I were picking my Insane skills again (which I hope not to :-) ) I think I'd just spend 1 skill point in Multiple Targets, to get the second arrow, and then put all the rest in something like Slowing Strikes. But I'm weird. Third Arrow is definately nice to have and a worthwhile skill. I'm just not convinced that the upgrade to fourth arrow is worth it.

Anyway, your plan -- Increased Bow Damage, Innate Haste, and Multiple Targets -- sounds quite sound to me.

Thanks!

And that geocities link is quite thorough! :)

Yes, it got me through the faerie palace and Cumulonimbus with its helpful red lines for guideance :)

Oh and for future players, I reccomend you max out Velm's group heal, and then put 8 skil points in celestial hammer, 7 in mesmerization. I got quite addicted to mesmerization when I got a bonus for it from a staff that I got. If you get single healing, give Rohane some SP in battle taunt, as you can then get Velm to heal him as he has the most HP all the time.

I found celestial hammer being resisted most of the time, mostly all. 45 dmg is too low, but the 3 second stun ain't that bad. My best mesmerization was 17 xsec when at level 1 :D Don't forget to max out them innates.

Mesmerization isn't all that good. When you get to the later bosses, it's pretty much useless. I'd recommend putting points into Group Shielding instead.
Battle Taunt is also useless, and there's really no reason to put points into that or Combat Focus.

Yes, but I never tried it on bosses. It'd probably be resisted anyway. It's pretty good for stalling, that's all. I only just used it on monsters. It may be good for multiple bosses though, but there's only the Relevant and the four faerie sisters. For the battle taunt thing, I thought of it when my friend acciadentally put her 15 SP into single healing, thinking it was group healing :o

And I always tought combat focus just merely made you do you damage, not the oppisite and resist more damage. I thought that cause Rohane seemed to be doing more damage when focused :o That doesn't make sense. o_O

Mesmerization you can easily get by without. What's the point when you can't hit them when they're under the spell?

Combat focus makes Rohane take less damage, but deliver less.

Yeah, but it can really help stalling. With about 90% monsters without magic resistance, mesmerization really helps.

Except when Talinia uses Multiple Targets. If you have sort of strategy planned with it, perhaps it could be useful. Whatever works for you.

Oh yes, I remember once I used Tailina's multiple targets when a monster was mesmerized. How lucky I missed the mesmerized monster, it's happened at least twice I remember :D Lucky me, eh?

I can't beat Terask II for anything...I had 20k gp...but now its down to about 700 because I'm losing all money just losing to him. Sometimes I do pretty good against him other times I suck...once he mesmerizes Velm and kills him, the game is pretty much over. I can never get past 3000 hp, I got past it once but he was killing off everyone by that point. Does anyone have solution or something because I ready to punch the computer screen.

What are the skills of the members of your party? That will help determine what your strategy should be...

you're having trouble? Hmm I've never had any trouble with terask. I or II

What works for me is to keep everyone hasted with potions and slow him at all times. Then have mipsy cast damage shields and then have velm heal everyone when they need it. For battling I have velm and mipsy throw damage potions while rohane and talinia just attack regularly. Since rohane has maxed critical attacks he does around 70 damage every turn.

That's how I beat him, what strat have you been using?

Honk Honk Honk $#%#$% honk hooooonk.

Well its kinda "kill him and hope he gets shocked so we can keep on killing him some more" everyone attacks except Velm, I only let him attack if everyone is at full health, because Celestial Hammer stuns.
I never really use slowing and hasting much, and never had too much trouble through the game without using them but maybe its time I start using them. The problem is that he seems to go for Velm the most, onece he mesmerizes Velm it all goes downhill and the losing begins. I lost to Terask I once then the second battle I beat him, but this one is alot worst.

EDIT:

Thankyou so much cap, your strategy helped, as you can see:
