Apparently a bunch of the neoboarders think the hint is too easy... which makes me wonder why they reposted it over there, but... eh. I've given up on trying to understand that place.

(And yeah, when I find the MP in the first place I look, I tend to consider it an easy one and hint accordingly. You want a harder hint? Just wait until the next tricky MP. Instead of "the PPT hint is too easy!" we'll be back to the usual "waaaah! That hint's stupid and too hard!" )

Some folks truly appreciate and enjoy the challenge of a difficult hint. Others get frustrated if you don't give them a link to the solution as a hint! We see that every week.

Interesting thing about today is people were complaining at the difficulty of the hint one moment and about facing and calling it too easy a few minutes later. How fickle!

Hmmmmmm, its getting harder to please people around here. I seem to remember being in the "hot seat" for giving a poorly received clue last week!

Perhaps we should keep our hints to ourselves!

Harder hints are fine with me since some people just don't appreciate help with the clues. I do since looking by myself would take forever and be too stressful. Thanks for all your help since not all neoboarders are ungrateful.

Hints are wierd that way...sometimes I think a hint is hard and post it, but then people say its easy, and sometimes people say a hint is hard but I think its real easy...you can never satisfy everyone.

I think the hints are much easier the longer you've been on Neopets. I only find the ones I've managed to figure out myself, because the hints never make a dang bit of sense to me. Looking at the right answer later, and revisiting the hints, I can see where you might come up with that if you've been around a while and remember old plots, etc.

90% of hints are easy after you know the answer. You cannot possibly be objective about a hint once you know the answer.
