Just now, for New Year's, I suppose, a user gave me a Magical Golden Nerkmid.
I don't know them. I don't believe i've seen their username before anywhere.
Still, they gave me something like that. This kind of thing reminds me not everyone on Neopets is an idiot or beggar.

You go onto the boards and all you see are spam boards, begging boards, begging spam boards, spam boards begging spammers to stop spamming, spam boards begging spammers and beggars to stop, and maybe one on-topic post unless it's in BD chat. Then the topics look ok, but as soon as you go in, BAM! "OnG nUbz0rz I BaT JOO 411 g00d!!"

But trust me, there's plenty of good people on Neo. I know someone here on PPT who anonymously gave a Honey Potion to someone else on the NeoBoards for that person simply talking her through something (Or is it typing? )

Yeah, I once found a decent deal on a Pumpkin Stick on the BD board.
Other than that, i've really never found help there.
But yeah, there are some awfully nice people on Neo.

I want a Nerkmid...Lol. I haven't had one of those buggers for over a year or two. Since the Avatar...they've gone up a little...

Anyone remember when these things used to be found like once a week? I want that to happen again...

That's really great how you got a random Nerkmid. I used to give random people random gifts sometimes when I was bored. Usually if I was in a person's shop and I found something for a great price, I would get them a little gift to say thank you. Or if I was in their shop and I just felt like giving them a gift for no reason whatsoever, I would.

So how much is that Nerkmid worth?

Why... back in my day, I bought a basic golden nerkmid off the auctions for seventeen thousand neopoints... then I used it at the vendy machine and got mahself a cloud paintbrush... I sold it for 80k and then bouth a starry paintbrush for 68k... *sighs*

yeah, somebody gave me a pink poogle toy! how do you find out who sent you a gift?? all i get now is that little gift box icon, but it doesnt say "TheWonderWeezel has sent you Pink Poogle Toy...." anymore... how do you find out who sent you an item?

Hover your mouse over the gift box icon and the words should show up like a description.
