Turns out, I see why My latest account was frozen. A friend asked me my sexual preferences, and I said, quite plainly, that I go both ways, but I prefeer guys, like me. That was it. We werent cybersexing, or anything. Just talking. An innocent question. I was making a new freind. Then, A few minutes later, 'im frozen. I fill out a request form, asking for my account back, nd this kis what I get.

A copy of my email, and the explanation that noone is allowed to discuss slash, or homosexual preferences. It's INNAPROPRIATE, AND WRONG.

I'm am SICKENINGLY offended by that. For a while, I'd heard a few horror stories, and seen/heard aboutt the petitions to make neopets say homosexuality/slash is okay, but I'd never taken it seriously. Until now. I'd never been frozen, for this before. I never belived you could.

Since when in the HELL does ANYONE have the right to say homosexuality is WRONG?!? It's something we don't choose. We can't help whom we love. And then neopets pulls thisa? I'm VERy, VERY close, to leaving for good. I'm just so smurf..

Now I have to question my entire self again.. God.. i' didnt know I could aggh.. GET THIS MAD!!

That's interesting, I never knew Neopets froze people for preferences. It wasn't like you REALLY got detailed or anything. Meh. *crosses arms and sticks tounge out at Neopets*
You can stay at PPT, we don't mind. Was it a big loss for NP on Neo? O.O

To keep Neopets clean there are a few things that are not allowed, including the posting of any sexual or offensive content

I doubt it's the fact that you have a certain sexual preference.
It's just not allowed period.

In general, discussion of any sexuality, hetero, bi, or homo is against the terms and policies on Neopets. You're better off just evading the topic entirely. I would not be surprised if your friends account had been frozen as well for the neomails.

If we could see a direct copy of the email you got back, I'd appreciate it, see what can be done, yknow?

I very strongly doubt that Neo has a problem with homosexuality. They just want to keep all innapropriate discussion off the site, and I'm sorry, but discussing sexual preferences is inappropriate. They're not saying your personal preferences are wrong or bad. They just don't want you talking about it on the site (which includes neomail, regardless of who you were talking to).

Sorry, but I think they were justified in freezing you.

Well, then I suppose you can try to send in a report for unfair freezings. Explain your situations and don't use a "tone" in your writing, by appearing friendly, it'll be easier to work with who helps you. It doesn't garuntee your account back, but every little bit helps.

Remember as well, this isn't something that happens over night, I'm actually quite surprised you got a reply so fast.
