I live in fear of the Boochi event too >_< 3 of my 4 pets are painted a retired color, all of which the prices have nearly doubled since I originally painted them. I really should change my active pet to my lab pet... but I need my weak pet to be the daily Coltzan visitor, and it's just easier... I think Boochi should ask if you want your pet to turn baby first before he zaps (and ask which one if so). And I think they should get rid of that invisible RE! @_@ I just hate pet-changing REs all together. And I'm not really looking forward to a FF quest, 3 of my 4 pets are their final color and my lab rat is trying to turn robot (FF doen't offer robot, sniff

It seems, from the neoboards, that Boochi is hitting the wrong people too many times.
He's zapping all of the people that don't want to be zapped, and forgetting the people that really do.

I've definitely seen a marked increase of people announcing they were zapped by Boochi on the Neoboards.
And I agree that it's horrible that we need to live in fear for our pets, of months of hard work going down the drain. Three of my five accounts have Boochi-shields (two krawks and a baby pteri), but the other two are vulnerable and it makes me nervous just to log on to feed my pets. Not too long ago I saw someone give away their formerly maraquan draik because Boochi got to her and the owner didn't exactly want to save up for a maraquan PB all over again.
I've heard the idea of Boochi insurance mentioned before, and I think it would be an awesome solution. I know I'd be willing to pay however much a month to insure the safety of my pets' colours.

It seems that even if they're trying to bring the prices down for paintbrushes, they seem to be doing it the wrong way, then. Baby will drop drastically, but others will rise as people try to get their beloved pets back.

lol, well, there's no real way to determine that.

Yeah, but if Boochi gave you a PB, then that wouldn't be evil. He's a villain! Wanting to repay Neopia for the accident that turned him Baby. Villains don't make people happy. Period. Well, except for Sloth handing out transmogrification potions
I love it when that happens, I got a Krawk and a Draik one at two separate times.

If TNT want to deflate PB prices, then they should hand more out instead of sending Boochi to terrorize everyone.
But of course they wouldn't do that, it's too logical.

I've had a FFQ and painted one of my Gnorbu's pirate with it. And I have a mutant Gnorbu whos name is.. omgmutantgnorbu. I keep him as the active pet, because a Gnorbu trans is only about 99k (or at least it was when I bought it) and that's not bad at all as far as the cost of a color. That and I like baby gnorbus

Like increasing the Jacko events.
I have NEVER got an FFQ on my Six year, and I get slightly annoyed/jealous when I see younger than 1 year old accounts get them.
As for Boochi, I always keep my lab pet active, but as long as they keep it on active pet only, I don't mind it at all.

I agree. He just got my friend's mutant draik last week. Nothing in the world quite as pathetic looking as a baby draik. And that's a 3.5 million paint job. Ouch. Always best to make your active pet the pet that would be cheapest to repaint.
