Here's what I gathered of the Brucey B plot, because I wasn't playing at the time:

Brucey B wondered through the Haunted Woods and found the Lost Desert. His lucky coin opened some tomb that Sloth used to create evil monsters. This was when the first scorched food appeared, such as the burnt chicken and scorched geopepper. I believe the final beast in this war was indeed the Rock Beast. Later, after new food was released in the Lost Desert foodstand, Razul scorched some new food which can still be purchased from the food store.
