I'm not sure where this should go or if anyone cares, but as the site is (at least partly) up and running, I let my friend log onto her account so she could do whatever she needed, then get home.
Anyway, the url when you clicked to play a game was coming up with your dob, username, email and game information. It was pointed out to me by my observant friend that that is no longer the case.
You now get something like this:
http://www.neopets.com/games/launch_gam ... _name=(put username here) &r=(insert number here {I think it's 7 digits}) &game_id=93&nc_referer=neopets&questionSet=&quality=High
I don't think there's any other personal information there - I just removed her username and the &r= number just in case for privacy.
I don't know what this age=1 means at all. The thing that I'm questioning is there is no longer an email, just a username. What could this potentially mean for people who share a computer, have their own account on different emails but are on the same ISP? I thought part of the way game scores/np were credited to a person and how accounts were kept track of was via the email address.
Any thoughts?
