Hubrid's Hero Heist, lvl 26?

Wed Nov 24, 2004 9:50 pm

I posted this before, but then I couldn't access it from home, forgot to check at school, and somehow my account got deleted. Can anyone beat level 26 of HHH? Has anyone even gotten this far? I did a websearch for hints, and it seems people only care about high scores, not saving all 6 heroes.

FYI, here's the heroes I've rescued so far:
(level 1-6) volcano background: Magnus the Torch
(level 7-12) castle background: Jeran
(level 13-18) jail background: Master Vex
(level 19-24) earthy/vine background: Illusen
(level 25-30) roman background: someone from the original pack. Grarrl Gladiator?
(level 31-36) ? background: your guess is as good as mine. My bet's on Fyora.

I've never gotten past Level 22. :P Got any tips for that?

Oh, and I thought the GG was a villian or experienced Grarrl.

I'm stuck onone of the 'roman' levels too. I think it was the level 25 or something. I can't get past the Lupe which moves back and forth on two squares :x

Oh, it's been awhile, but I have beaten all the levels at one point or another....

Lemme see... level 26 has two lupes, two jubjubs, and one evil dark faerie thingie.

This level is all about timing, and possibly a bit of luck. Head straight up the ladder first thing and take out the lupe wandering around up there. DO NOT HESITATE OR THE DARK FAERIE WILL GET YOU! The Jubjubs are, of course, fairly simple; I like to come at them from the bottom, and as long as the dark faerie stays out of your way, you shouldn't have much trouble timing the warp onto their platform. The last lupe is the real kicker. Generally what I do is stand on that one square platform, time my drop and fall while pressing the space bar as fast as I can.

Good luck!

Oh, and the fifth card is Jerdana, and you were right about the last card being Fyora. The last levels are this really distracting shade of pink, too.... anyway, good luck!

Sure! I just don't remember which level that is. Remind me what the layout is. Is that the one with 3 shoyrus and a dark faerie? If so, teleport up the side squares twice, jump down to the long lower platform and teleport up when there's no shots coming at you.

No, it's that one where there are some Werelupes and Kacheeks in this little confined areas and you have to get down and defeat them both in order to get to the next level, obviously... yes, this is a bit murky; sorry. :( I think it's the second Illusen level.

Did you say it had a roman background and was Jerdana? Well, since Jerdana is the ex-leader of Talador, I assume that Talador might be something that relates to Roman-ish type of thing. Yes, this is off topic. :P Oh well. Just a theory.

Oh, that one! That's level 20, I think. Drop down to the upper level, clean out the kacheeks, and the one werelupe in the left section. You should be left with one lupe on the raised divider, or got lucky and he's in the right division. If he's on the divider, shrink him, then run down the ladder and drop on top of him before he changes back.

As for level 26, it sounds like my comp is too slow to do that efficiently, so I have to hope it's not or I can find one that'll let me defeat this guy.

Forgot which level it was, but I beat the entire game once (even got a golden trophy out of it).

My point? I don't think there is one :P
