I happened to be brave enough to go into someone's shop. Ater buying one thing and refreshing the page I got this message:
"Username XXX doesn't seem to have a shop!
NOTE: If you've noticed your shop has gone missing this past weekend, not to worry. We're in the process of a database move that's taking longer than expected. Your shop is sitting happily in the old database waiting quietly for its turn. If your shop is one that seems to have disappeared, please don't create a new one. Your shop and all your items will return as soon as everything is done moving. Sorry for the wait"
Gee, if only it were that simple! See, ENT, if any of you are listening, I lost more than a shop this past weekend! Saturday, I lost 99999 in a shop glitch when I tried to buy that absolutely have-to-have Better than you plushie. Tonight, I lost 10,000 trying to buy a negg from someone's shop. Over the weekend, my inventory, shop and nps were reset to what they had been 2 days prior to that. I lost 1/2 of my gallery (which did return several hours later but it bit my nails to my elbows worrying about it). And I know of countless others that had it much, much worse than me.
Instead of these cute little reassurances about how "all of your items will return" yada yada, why don't you actually return the items that were lost--to all of us, OK? Sorry if I sound sarcastic--I never used to be until I started playing this game. It's just that I will believe it when I see it!

I was on an Illusen quest and tried to buy an organic apple, and I got an error with that message about how prices change as you buy them, and it said they changed it to zero neopoints.....I checked my neopoint total and it looked like I had bought two of them, and I had two in my items, but their shop only had one...

*applauds* Very well said! I have to agree, because any loss recently is strictly due to their own miss managment and it's driving me crazier than I already am!

I doubt ENT will listen to anyone. They're of in their own little world, and noone can get them out.
They need to just shut down all of the servers and fix everything. The censors, autoflags, shops, everything.
I lost several gallery accounts (thanks to autoflaged words in my shop)and had my spare hacked (total of 5 accounts) . I couldn't even put the word "the" in my gallery without it being autoflagged. I managed to get two back (1 gallery and my spare) , but that was just a waste of enery since I lost everything in them.
ENT is becoming hopeless, and Neopets future looks uncertian.
They need to just shut down all of the servers and fix everything. The censors, autoflags, shops, everything.

recent events have certainly not been very assuring. i am now scared to deequip my pets or move stuff around too much...

It would be a good smack in the face if all this is because of thier new, big promotions (like the McDonalds thing). They'll know that they have to pay more attention to the site and not the contents of their wallets.

Good idea. If you unequip stuff, you might just lose your pet! Garrrrhhh!!! This is annoying to say the least and distressing at worst. Think of those actually young players who don't understand what happened to their petpets that they've grown attached to!
But ENT doesn't care. It's pointless to think that they do.

I agree with you 100%. If this keeps up without being addressed and resolved, their cute little McDonald's promotion will end up blowing up in their faces--causing them to lose sponsors and players. And, in turn, become a "Teddy Ruxpin" has-been. Which is a shame, really, because I really liked this game--when it worked--and most of all, when you could count on it to be reliable and accurate.

So, some shops are still down? That message is nice, but it's almost Tuesday, it's not the weekend anymore!
The only way for me to get np right now is through my shop and maybe sell something on my gallery account. I can't play any games, because I have carpal tunnel in my right wrist (of course I'm right handed) and it's really been bad lately. I'm able to use my voice recognition for some of the posting I'm doing here, but I can't use that on Neo.
Anyway, I've had things sitting in my shop for about a week now unpriced because of all the glitches. After losing the np for a nerkmid last week and hearing all the problems everyone else is having, I'm not touching anything!
And, no, after writing to support and sending information of my shop history showing the sale and my shop till, I heard nothing and never got my np.

Where do you think the money comes from that supports Neopets? And the wages, and the such? I'm surprized Neopets is even free! It cost to have servers, people, even artists! Programers, people who have ideas, plot designers, and even more! Their not just pocketing the money, they are useing alot more that you think! But I still hate the promotions. But i'll live with them if it keep neopets free.

Seriously. My husband still hasn't had his shop returned or had any type of response from TNT and it's been, what, 2 weeks? Also, I just checked his acct. and his secret avatars are gone as well. I am getting really tired of this. My girls have started playing Neopets and I am not looking forward to the day I will have to calm them after they lose something they've worked so hard on because of a stupid glitch. -.-

Sure, it costs for these things. But think about it. There's the TCG, the countless merchandise they're always releasing, the many different sponsor games, the promotions, and let's not forget the latest game you have to pay to download in order to get a 50x50 image! I'd say that they're doing quite well, personally...
And yes, I am annoyed with their countless glitches. My NeoQuest game has just reset itself, and I had almost finished, after putting many many hours into it. Not cool.
