OK, I've been on the site, done just what I needed to like fed my pets, etc. No games or dailies. Then went to lurk on the boards to see if anything was going on that we should be aware of.
Glitches that keep being posted:
TP - people are getting weird error could not insert messages when they try to either look at bids or accept/reject bids. Also, some tp things are disappearing or not showing up in inventory. In one case, a person took things out of their shop, put in trades -- the things are in trades but are still showing up in the shop! Cancelling trades, some people are losing their things.
Cookie messages - This seems to be something happening randomly. Some getting it at the bank, some trying to do a bc entry, some trying to battle. There's a message basically saying that the cookies aren't correct (can't be read) or that the person may have manually changed their cookies (how on earth would you do that?).
Shops - people are still posting that either they're seeing too many np in their shop till or it's gone to 0. Items are either not showing up when moved from inventory or they're sold but continue to appear in shop. One person said they had np in their shop till, but knew they hadn't sold anything because it's their gallery and they had nothing for sale.
Neomail seems to be working for some, not for others. And yes, neohomes are still down.
Auctions - haven't seen much there, except some people aren't getting their np back if they lose an auction. That may just be a time lag though. Auctions never are as immediate as shops or trades.
Oh, and games aren't loading for some people, or they're loading partway then stopping, but looks like only certain games.
I'm guessing server moves? Last I looked no new News, so that is just a guess.

Yeah, and the list will probably grow as the day progresses. So far *crosses fingers* I haven't run into any glitches, but that's pure luck, I'm sure of it!

Wow. Looks like another day where it would be pointless for me to attempt much. I hate losing items and np to glitches.
Personally, I've had great trouble accessing my Neomail, and looking at offers made on my trades. Haha, then when I do get a peek, I've got Neomails from impatient people yelling at me for not responding. Geez.

I'm not sure if anyone else is getting it, but whenever I do Kitchen Quests, a rather weird combination of letters shows up at the top of the page.

In theory, one would think so but in reality I've been through the Moving Servers thing before. It's never been faster, only glitch after pointlessly stupid glitch... even to the point where they closed the site for almost a day. I wish they'd just go ahead an do that, instead of this up and down stuff!

yes, I'm getting those too. Fortunetely it doesn't affect the quests.
Those are alot of glitches
I really hope they're sorted out quickly, and without too much loss.

Yes, I agree, take the site down, get things fixed that need fixing, etc. Seems whenever they post that they've done something to make the site faster that it actually goes slower and the glitches get bigger.
I'd happily (well maybe not happily) deal with no Neo for a couple of days if it meant that thing were working, no yo-yo of it's up, no it's down, no it's up, oh wait only part of the site's up.

I agree with you everconfused, as always (we seem to think alike). I know that when my firm is fixing computer "stuff"--going to new software, new servers, etc., our great IT guy always tells us ahead of time and tells us exactly when that part of our site is going to be down. What is interesting is about two years ago Neopets used to tell its users ahead of time of work that was going to be done to the site. I wonder why that common courtesy has changed? Personally, I even be willing to pay for this site if it meant that the site would be reliable and glitch-free. I mean, after all, I pay for most every other form of entertainment.

No, I was able to play for about 10 minutes earlier tonight. But, stupid me, I tried to buy something from someone's shop, and lost the item and the 10K it cost. But, hey, at least my daughter got her red shoyru plushie at McD's today.

Why does TNT keep us in the dark about EVERYTHING? When there is any big glitch they never even acknowledge it. They must have reasons. What if they don't ever talk about it, it never did happen? Are they afraid to amid that they had a problem? Does it make them feel better to ignore it? What is their deal?[/quote]
