Is it just me, or are the shops restocking less frequently? Have those evil programmers out there programed another autobuyer that can determine the x,y position of the neopet in the security image? I haven't gotten a r90+ item in weeks. Is it just the new computers at this library or is it a more widespread problem?

I haven't restocked since my account was iced, so I wouldn't know. I wouldn't be surprised if someone did come up with a new autobuyer.

I pretty much have given up on restocking too. I used to think I was getting good at it, then it was overrun by ABs.

I have noticed this too. I thought it was just my luck

I don't bother with it anymore. I gave up on trying to beat autobuyers and stuff, so I wouldn't know. Although it wouldn't surprise me if the shops were restocking less frequently or something.

I thought it was because neopets made the times random? Or would that still mean that they restock at the same frequency, but just not at the same time? Ive had restocks occur, during the middle of a restock, I think it is because you will never be able to determine the time of restock now. The most restocks could occur at 3am in the morning, or 5pm. It just depends on what time the random restocks now occur. Atleast, thats my theory.

it's because of the clock. more people are there on the 0 of the minute, when shop load. it's made restocking both easier and harder.

Personally, I've done very well restocking lately...

Ive done well recently, although ive been going for the chocolate factory, haven't even SEEN a r90 or above.
Some autobuyer..

I think I have another theory. Each neopian hour, the restocks occur differently, but at the same intervals.
Like 4 NST the restocks occur every ten minutes, and when it turns say, 5 NST, then the interval per restock is reset, and maybe each restock occurs at the end of each 6th minute or so.
Btw, I'm RSing at the bakery, and since the snow faerie is frozen, no one will buy my wares
(Got the idea to restock at the bakery from xala, because Ive tried RSing before, and made absolutely minimal profit, I got the idea by browsin his shop, and noticing that he has gone to RS in the bakery and chocolate factory, and the prices he is selling at seemed like he was making loads of NP, esp if he could afford a krawk
)

That's possible for TNT to do, but not practicle... They could just have a randomly run script... I think that they're restocking less than 8x per hour nowadays.

No, it seems to me that over the course of 24 hours, the thing still restocks about 196 times, give or take - I restock while I'm at work (i don't exactly have a demanding job), and I think that on average, it's still about 8 times.
The problem with restocking has been that the clock was installed. Too many people now know precisely when to hit F5, and so from the 0-second to the 3-second mark, the shops are being accessed hundreds of thousands of times, which lags the servers and makes it hard to get the better items.

I've noticed that, too. The best thing I've restocked lately is a Neocola token. :\ I'm not that great a restocker, I just know a few good items. My seven year-old sister got two 'Dark Chocolate Elephantes', but that's it. (She was really excited about that, especially when she saw the price they went for
)

You guys do know that autobuyers do not give you THAT MUCH of an advantage right? Most likely there's just been a surge in restockers lately.

I'm restocking just fine. However, the items that used to be worth a lot aren't anymore.
