The Bonus Level On Meerca Chase

On PPT, the meerca chase secrets say that there is still a bonus level, (One is crossed out) and I was wondering if it should be accessible.
(It's the one that's supposed to give the 15x multiplier)

No longer exists. It was taken out about a year and a half ago.

There are no secret levels any more. Only a little thingy that follows your mouse around when you click the top right corner.

It used to be that you could Hold down shift before you play to get x12 , and you could click the top right hand corner for x15. That was back when it also gave you a magical Meerca Plushie when you got a score above 800 too though. They took them out, becuase people were taking advantage of it.

How would people take advantage of it? It was just like any other level, just hidden. It was uber fast, but had a decent payout.

I don't really know how. I think it said somthing about a bug in it, where people could slow it down, but still get x15 pay out.

Well maybe they should take the game itself off, too then. People slow down Meerca chase so they can get more points.

Especially now that there's an avatar for it.

I remember that! It was so incredibly fast it was... InSaNe! I never really liked Meerca Chase anyways, so I didn't really care.

Yes, it was being used, however, not in a good way. People were abusing the bonus levels to make it easier to get the plushies. It killed the market for them.

*shudders* I hope Meerca stays forever. It's probably the longest lived game without being sent off to the graveyard.

I miss that crazy secret level. I could never do it, but I missed it. Does anyone remember when Adam played a joke on us all one time in I think it was the Neopian Times...he said...

"Meerca Chase has a new secret level. Just get out your microphone and say Secret Level." Sadly...I believed it...

The secret levels were taken down because people were running large programmes in the background to slow down the game (EG : Scanning for Virus' and Spyware etc) and then getting loads of points off it
