AD-HATING slorgs???

Okay, probably isn't new to anyone but me, but still....

I went to the shop of offers to see what neopets sponsors were out and about these days. When I went to the page, there was an odd animation of a slorg crawling around the page, erasing the ads with his slime trail. I wish I got a screenie but didn't.

When I clicked on him, I got this:

Gave me a heck of a good laugh...

I never liked them before, but since slorgs hate advertising and try to erase the ones on neo, they have become my new favorite petpet. :lol:

You can got here once a day to recieve the prize. Usually 50 but sometimes 100 neopoints. Doesn't work in some web browsers. I like the fact that it goes behind some ads.

Heh, I've heard that TNT don't like the sponsors either, but since they've got no choice, they have to have all these offers.

Shame it doesn't work for me though. All I see is a big broken image floating around. Still gives me 50np though. Heck, I'm not complaing, but I hardly consider that 50np makes a slorg rich :roflol:

When was the last time you saw a Slorg with ANY money, other than that slorg on the Sponsors page?

Therefore, any money would make it a rich Slorg. It's all relative.

Good point. I guess that since thats the only slorg with np, then that must mean that any amount of np they have would be considered rich among other slorgs

but then petoets wouldn't have alot of money, i would think owners would have alot of money, so that probably makes it quite rich in comparision.

Lol, I don't think the slorg is erasing the ads, it is just leaving behind a slime trail which happens to obscure them.

Side note - I don't see anything on that page (other than the words on top) on my Firefox browser... guess Adblock is working wonders.

I think the Slorg is there so people accidentally misclick and hit an ad. xD

That would make a lot of sense, but it's not TNT's only reason. I mean, to a newbie, 50 or 100 np is like *wow*. And I mean, this is a quick and easy profit for them, so they probably visit it every day. It's kinda sneaky though. Smart, but sneaky.

Sorry to revive such a long dead topic, but has anyone else noticed the slorgs have been missing since Neo went down last week?

Maybe it's just me.
