...I should really move that NQ guide to my actual domain, shouldn't I? :P

I beat Scuzzy at Level 32 - he didn't hit me once ^-^ I'm aiming to gain three levels before going up against Siliclast - one in the desert, and one on each level of the temple.

It requires a bit of wandering around, but it's a pretty good strategy, as it gives me something to aim for.

Well good luck to you :)

People are mailing me repeatedly for NQII help o.O I'm not on 24/7!

Could somebody add this site to that list?

No offense, but I think you're underleveled. I mean, I fought the faeries at level 48 on normal!

i know, thats why i mentioned that it'll take a while ;)

Right now I'm I'm level 29, in Lost Cave 3. I'll 100% be level 30 for Scuzzy. I'll sneak to him once I'm level 30.

Well, I beat the faeries with no real problems at level 50 (insane), though I had a moment of wory when the blasted dark faerie mesmerized Velm right off the bat. I debated whether the exp, weapons, and np would be worth fighting Nox, and decided to live (somewhat) dangerously. I went down to normal travel and fled from fights just to get to the top as fast as I could (and also to avoid any possible fights with four hands of noxes). Nox was as tedious as he was on the first two modes of play, but no real problem. The Esophagor still makes a lousy final boss for the chapter. If I don't end up having to take a break for a few days, I may be going for the gold by then end of tomorrow. :D

Good luck. I agree, the Esaphagor is too easy. He only stuns/slows and hastes himself, for heaven's sake! Dear god, grow up! Well, I'm not really complaining. I wouldn't want Nox to be the act boss :D He'd pwn me, like he killed Rohane on normal.

Maybe they could make the boss Magax Destroyer, or something? Ohhhhhhhooooooohhhhhhh! They should extend the Haunted Woods to the Deserted Fairground!

wow, nq2 was a bit buggy for me today. when i clicked on panacea for velm to use, it said that talinia attacked... then it show'd velm's turn to attack when talinia hit them. and guess what, velm's skills didnt even show...

another time, i clicked on the return to map page after i won a battle, then i was sent to the page right before it (as soon as you defeat the last enemy)... how odd

lastly, it said that rohane's attack stunned an enemy, but it didnt stun at all. i checked the difference between rohane's attack and talinia's turn (it was her turn), and there barely was any difference, and the enemy's waiting time didnt increase. meh

im at level 50 now, maybe i should grow one more level right before the first boss in faerieland

The Fallen Angel? I fought her at level 52 on my normal mode game.

Today is very glitchy in NQII. I had finished the battle, clicked the "Return to Map" button, and I came back to that Ramtor/Chapter 1 plotline/story (with the three parts, the three pictures).

Also, sometimes when I'm in a fight, I click "Attack" or "Trinity Barrage" and it just refreshes the page...it takes everal tries.

Nox is terrible. Not that he does a lot of damage, the most annoying thing is that he slows every member of your party and keeps healing. It became such a slugfest that I ran out of slowing potions and had to go down all the 9 flights and return to Augur Faunt to replenish my supplies.

I don't see what is so scary about the nine levels, though. They are quite small and I breeze through each level easily.

Oh, and yeah, while walking through the tower I met the plot about Ramtor taking of Skarl's throne, too. Is it just a glitch, or an intentional hint on Neopets part regarding future wars? o_O

Right, I've decided to give Insane a bash. Could someone give me a brief outline of what skill points I should go for with each character please?

Try do the same skills as evil or normal. Just make sure you max out magic Resistance ;)

Quanda, I used up all my Corrode Potions against him, and so I had to run back down the tower to the Goo Bog and skip him. He killed Rohane, for god's sake! He heals too often, and he's hasted too, so he has another turn to attack.

the fallen angel had just fallen... i got a focusing wand, which works well for my acara. it takes away skill points to skills that i dont have, which is great :)

unlike my staff for velm, it takes away group healing and something i dont use. bleh

btw it was easy at level 50

Staff of Love?

Staff of Love
- Group Shielding: +4
- Group Healing: +3
- Celestial Hammer: +3
- Group Healing: -2
- Mesmerization: -2

I used that on normal.....it look away Panacea :(

focusing wand
- Damage Shields: +4
- Group Direct Damage: +3
- Group Haste: +3
- Slowing: -2
- Direct Damage: -2

-DD and -Slowing...ack. Right now I'm using heavy wand, for it's +3 Slowing, and I won't use Group Haste this time.

heavy wand
- Slowing: +3
- Group Haste: -1

No offense...but I think you're still underleveled. I fought her at level 52.

I pwned Scuzzy easy....have amny Chill Potions leftover for Silicast, though he resists most magic and damage potions. Scuzzy reisted at least 60% of my Frost Potions.

I'm Level 30 and a half, in the Temple of the Sky. I'm hoping for level 32 for Silicast, my foolish friend fought Scuzzy at 28 and Silicast at 30 (on normal mode)

I just realized something today. I found a straategy. See, each charchter has 59 skill points to spend in total, so you're able to max out 3 skills, and leave 14 points in a skill. And I am doing exactly that. e.g My Mipsy. I (personally) am currently choosing to max out three of her skills, and put 14 skill points into another skill. I'm choosing to max out Direct Damage, Slowing, Melee Haste ('big gun', Direct Damage), and put the remaining 14 points into Melee Defense.

You may not want to use this strategy, but I am just suggesting it for starters.Personally I think it's an ingenious NQII strategy.

yup, staff of love

im not really underleveled now, ive been hunting from there all the way to the devilpuss, which gave me a superb 3 levels :)

oh, and still no fountain faerie quest :(
