I know, but what good's a plushie paint brush (toy, not P/b) if you can't do anything with it? Like NQ2 Thunder Lizard Plushies go for like 900,000 nps... WHY?! It doesn't even DO anything except make your pet happy, but a Blue Aisha Plushie can do that for a lot cheaper!
I do not understand why some people in the neoboard post this sort of stuff when you are trying to sell something. If you are not interested in my stuffs then go away! Dun post in my board that plushies are useless and they do not even realise they are telling my potential customers not to buy my stuffs.
I remember I used to make a mistake with a petpet I brought and was trying to sell it off without losing too much np. There was one fellow in the board that kept telling people not to buy my petpet because it is not worth that much. Arrrrrrgggggh!
Just need a space to rant!

I hate people like that. They should just mind their own business.

Why did people go crazy over the McDonald's Promo plushies and plurge out a bunch of cash to get them!? They don't do anything!
Hm. Well. Let's see? Collecting?
Haha. I guess some don't grasp the concept of rarity. On top of that, thousands of people have plushies galleries. Seems a good place for those things to be, no?

Lol. That's funny.
Well, if you think about it, nothing in the game actually does anything. It's all a bunch of pixels. If anything has an effect, it just triggers coding to change the way those pixels look or gets you different colored pixels.
It's a game and everyone likes something different. Some play games. Some restock. Some collect. Some battle. Some write stories or draw pictures. It's all for enjoyment. It's very rude of someone to come along and try to mess with someone else's enjoyment when it doesn't affect them in the least.

Its bad for you, but could be good for the customer, I mean what if they really don't know its no different from a cheap version (function-wise)? They'd be blowing alot of money for nothing. If I were the customer I'd definately want to know stuff like that.

I had a guy harrass me about an item in my shop that was "overpriced" at 100,000... apparently he wanted my cloud ixi plushie, and it was just for display... he "reported" me for over pricing items...

Lol! I had a girl tell me that all the items in my shop were too much and no one was going to buy them a couple days ago. I told her they were gifts from friends and family, so she says, "Oh, okay. So you overpriced them so no one would buy them. You should be careful because my sister is almost at 100,000 np but I don't think she'd want to buy any of it.
" I just stared at that neomail for a bit before I replied and thanked her for her concern and explained how items priced 100k and over weren't buyable in shops.
lol

Most people with 900k now that function-wise there is no difference between all the plushies. Except for the Magical ones.
If people really want the item, they will not be scared away by some little person that tells them not to buy it.

If the customer wants to buy a plushie, and is new to neopets, I don't think he will have 900k to pay him, and the people that do save up to buy that plushie, they buy it for collection reasons.

Ugh, I've lost track of all the neomails I've gotten on my gallery account either: 1) giving me a "piece of their minds" about my prices being too high for a cheap item and even calling me a scammer ...Grrrr (those get either ignored/blocked/deleted or reported depending on the language); 2) asking why, when they have the np, they can't buy something, like how did I do that code? -- meaning a reply explaining (nicely) about the whole 100K + unbuyable in shops; and 3) the Lyke ur SOOO rich, can I have item name here, I'll give you all my plushies (and they have like blue aisha and quiggle plushies).
People posting on your shop board something like that are either Rude, Dumb or have a shop on that or another account trying to sell the same (or similar) item. There's no excuse for it, no matter the reason.

Just ignore people like that, they're such losers.

I used to sell lots of overpriced Booktastic Books before the trophy is introduced. I just put them in my shop and they will sell but slowly. I sold overpriced snow petpet paint brushes too when they were still at 3000+. I buy them from the Wizard and put them in the auction for 6000. But I dun find myself a scammer.
I will like to hear what the rest of the people think. Do you label players that sell overpriced items as scammers?
