There is a bonus prize for visiting quests every day of the event. This is just for collecting the free prize at the FQ page. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting the hub page every day, as well as the Faerie Quest page (and eventually donation page), based on two years ago, just to be safe. Who knows what if anything they'll do for other bonus prizes this year (or if there will even be dialogue past the intro set, as there's no dialogue tab)? After the fiasco of not knowing what the requirements were for fully participating, I plan on clicking every place I can every day this year.

Tip: You can (maybe?) stack items to donate 10 of the same item all at once. Unsure at this point if this works if you have more than 10 of them. (Will confirm on day 2.)

FAQs:

What is the Faerie Festival event about?
The Faerie Festival is a wonderful celebration that rewards Neopians for donating items in support of all lands! The host of this year's festivities, Queen Fyora, has generously funded an entire Prize Shop to encourage widespread attendance; as thanks for each donation, participants will receive a range of points to spend on prizes. Donations will be accepted each day from September 30th to October 13th. Remember to visit the Faerie Quest page regularly for your daily gift and quest!

How long does the event last?
The event begins on September 30th and will end on October 13th. After the event is over, regular faerie quests will resume via Random Events, so keep an eye out for those fluttering wings!

Can I choose which kind of Faerie Quest I go on?
Faerie quests are given out randomly from the event Hub Page. This year, Aethia the Battle Faerie, Seshatia the Library Faerie, Naia the Fountain Faerie, and Queen Fyora herself will be offering quests to Neopians who visit the Hub Page each day. On the NC end, Delina will provide Delina’s Retired Crafts Mystery Capsules from the NC Mall.

Can I cancel a faerie quest once I am on it?
Yes, you can choose to abandon a faerie quest at any time, and you will not miss out on the final prize for visiting the event Hub Page each day. If you do abandon a quest, you will not receive another one until the following day of the event, when a new daily faerie quest is given to you. If you abandon a daily faerie quest on the final day of the event, you will not receive another; instead, you'll have to wait until a faerie quest is offered to you through a regular Random Event.

If I cancel a quest, is there a penalty?
Nope! You're free to abandon a quest if you like, and you will not miss out on the final prize for visiting the Hub Page each day. However, you won't be able to accept another quest until tomorrow if you abandon today's quest.

How many faerie quests can I receive in one day?
Each day of the event, you can visit the Hub Page to receive a random faerie quest. You can choose to complete or abandon this quest. If you have a Faerie Quest Fortune Cookie, you can also receive that quest. If you have an active quest from the day before, you will not be granted another.

Can I use the Shop Wizard when I am on a faerie quest during the event?
No, the Shop Wizard will still be unavailable to you while you are on a faerie quest.

Can I choose which Neopet receives the reward from the faerie quest?
The reward for completing a quest will be applied to your active Neopet. In the case of a Fountain Faerie quest, you'll need to visit the Rainbow Fountain to receive your reward, at which point your active Neopet can get a dip (and a cool new colour!).

Do I have to complete a faerie quest every day?
Nope. You're given the option of completing a quest every day, but you don't have to; you will still get a daily gift for each day you visit and a final prize and avatar if you at least visit the Faerie Quest page each day.

Can I participate in the event on my side account(s)?
No, side accounts cannot participate in this event. Since the Faerie Festival event - where you receive a "free" guaranteed faerie quest every day - gives out extra daily rewards, it is treated like any other event. You may only participate in Faerie Festival faerie quests on your main account.
This is different from regular faerie quests that are given out in Random Events; you may participate in those on your side account(s) if you happen to receive one, so long as you earned the NP for the requested item on your main account. (Remember, earning NP or items on side accounts isn't allowed.)

Do I have to complete a quest in order to receive a prize?
The only way to get a quest-specific reward is to complete a given quest. However, you will also get a daily prize just for visiting the Faerie Quest page!
And even if you don't complete a quest, as long as you visit the Faerie Quest page every day of the event, you will still get the final prize and avatar at the end.

What are all of the prizes can I earn during the Faerie Festival?
Queen Fyora has ensured there is plenty to celebrate at this year's festival! Each day of the event, you can earn a reward for donating enough items to reach the maximum point limit. Those item donations add up to points that can then be redeemed at this year's Prize Shop! You can also earn a daily prize by clicking on Varia once per day, whenever she appears around the Hub Page. Finally, you can receive a daily gift just by visiting the Faerie Quest page; and while you're there, you can earn a quest-specific reward by completing the faerie quest you are given.
As an added bonus, Premium players will receive a unique Premium prize for each day they donate during the event - no maximum point limit needed.
At the end of the Faerie Festival, you can receive final prizes for participating, visiting the event Hub Page every day of the event, visiting the Faerie Quest page every day of the event, and reaching the maximum amount of donation points every day of the event!

Besides donating, what other activities can I do during this year's Faerie Festival?

Is it possible to get repeat prizes from daily visits to the Faerie Quest page?
Nope! There are no repeat prizes. You'll receive a random item from a pool of prizes for each day you visit the Faerie Quest page, but each item will be unique.

How do Premium prizes work?
Premium players will receive a unique Premium prize for each day they donate during the event - no maximum point limit needed.
Click on the "Donate Items" button on the Faerie Festival Hub Page. You can donate up to 10 items at once, selecting them from your inventory. If you have a Premium Membership, any kind of item donation, even a single item, will earn you a daily Premium prize!

I already donated, but I want to join Premium to get a Premium prize today. Can I come back?
Yes! You can sign up for Premium at any time and return to earn your Premium prize that same day. You will only get the Premium prize for the day you signed up, but for as long as you're a Premium member, you'll be able to get daily Premium prizes on future days of the event! There's no way to go back in time and get Premium prizes for days that have already passed.
Once you've signed up, return to the page and donate another item to get your Premium prize for the day. If you have already hit your Daily Point Limit, go to the Donation section of the Hub page and click on the "Claim Prize" button. You'll get a pop-up revealing your Premium prize.

I'm not Premium, but I see there are two items showing for what I could get if I become Premium. Am I guaranteed one of these prizes if I do?
Kind of. If you become Premium, you are not guaranteed those exact prizes right away, but those prizes are in the prize pool, so there is a high chance of eventually getting them. The sooner you become Premium, the higher the chance you have of getting every item in the Premium Prize Pool, as there are no repeat prizes and there is only enough prizes in the pool for each day of the event. So if you are Premium from the beginning of the event, you are guaranteed every Premium prize as long as you donate at least once each day.

Is it possible to get repeat prizes from the Premium prize pool?
Nope! There are no repeat prizes in this case. Premium members will receive a random item from a pool of Premium prizes for each day they donate, but each item will be unique.

I don't have Premium. Can I still participate in the Faerie Festival?
Of course! Everyone will be able to celebrate Faerie Festival by receiving daily faerie quests and earning points with their donations. Premium members will simply get an additional Premium prizes for each day they donate. If you're looking for more activities, check out the activity tab on the Hub page!

Who is the Faerie Shoyru that keeps appearing around the Faerie Festival Hub Page?
That's Varia! She's a Neopet from New Faerieland who's been helping Fyora assemble all of the gifts and prizes for the festival. She even has a few trinkets of her own to give away! You can click on her once a day for a daily prize and a fun fact about Faerie Fragments.

Can I get multiple prizes from Varia in a day?
Nope - we can't have her running out of gifts before the festival's over! Varia will only hand out one prize per day, if you're quick enough to catch her. Simply click on her when she appears on either side of the Hub Page to receive your daily prize.

Where are Jhudora and Illusen?
Don't worry - Jhudora and Illusen are keeping plenty busy! They're providing a ton of support behind the scenes while Queen Fyora oversees this year's festival. (Hopefully keeping their quarreling at a minimum...)

What's this Donating Items all about?
Though Neopia as a whole has been impacted by the Grey Curse, many Neopian lands are now in dire need of support. The items donated at this year's Faerie Festival will be delivered by Fyora's most trusted faeries to lands that need them most. Even the smallest of items could be helpful!
In gratitude for the generosity of everyday Neopians, Fyora has funded an entire Prize Shop for this year's Faerie Festival. For each donation, you will receive points to spend on the many fine prizes therein. And if you reach the daily maximum point limit, you'll receive a bonus prize!

Will I get these items back?
No, the faeries will be delivering all of the donations to lands that need them most. Donated items will go to good homes and therefore will not be returned to those who donated them.

Why should I donate?
On top of the warm, fuzzy feeling of helping out, there are plenty of prizes for generous Neopians. Each day of the festival, you can earn a reward for donating enough items to reach the daily maximum point limit, and the points you get from donating can then be redeemed for prizes at this year's Prize Shop! Premium players will receive a unique Premium prize for each day they donate during the event - no maximum point limit needed.
Also, there are bonus prizes for those who reach the daily maximum point limit each day.

How do I donate items?
Click on the "Donate Items" button on the Faerie Festival Hub Page. You can donate as many items as you want, but you can only earn up to 281 points each day. You can donate up to 10 items at once, selecting them from your inventory. After donating your items, a pop-up will inform you of how many points you earned for the Prize Shop.

What happens if I donate items worth more than the Daily Point Limit?
If you are about to donate items that add up to more than your Daily Point Limit, you will be informed via a warning in the confirmation pop-up. If you choose to donate anyway, then any points that go over the limit will not be counted and thus go unused. You will still be granted all points leading up to the Daily Limit and receive that day's Donating Bonus Prize.

What are the numbers above the items when I'm donating?
The number on the right is how much the item is worth. If you are in Stack mode, the number on the left is how many of those items you have and the number on the right is how much those items all combined are worth.

Why are some of the items I can donate now red?
When donating, any items that are highlighted in red are worth more than what you need to hit the Daily Point Limit and thus indicate that if you donate them, you will not receive all of the points they are worth. You can still donate them if you wish, but you will only receive the amount of points needed to hit the Daily Point Limit, and the rest will disappear as points do not roll over.

What's available in the NP Prize Shop?
Fyora has assembled a Prize Shop filled with items worthy of a Queen. Some are difficult to obtain, so they can only be purchased a limited amount of times from the Prize Shop!

With all that is going on in the world of Neopia, we faeries wanted to come together for this year's festival to create a welcoming space for all to have a good time.
If you aren't sure what you'd like to do, I recommend checking out the activities list for all the fun faerie-themed activities one can partake in at any time!
During the festival only, there are a few changes to some of these activities to explore. Such as the Soup Faerie opening her doors to all, and the first daily spin at the Wheel of Excitement being free!
There will also be new daily Faerie Quests from a select few faeries while the festivities commence, so be sure to swing by there as often as you can to see who may be around looking for brave festival goers to help them!
Lastly, there are many Neopians around the globe in need of help these days. So us faeries wanted to use the festival as an opportunity to gather supplies to spread across the globe.
So if you are feeling charitable, we ask that during the festival, you donate what you can each day!

Nothing new today for me, either. Must be a 1.5 day Day 1 thing again. Kinda disappointing to get on and get no new quest, but seeing as only 13 premium prize pool items were found yesterday, I'm not too surprised in retrospect.

HOWEVER.

The prize shop has changed very slightly, but in a significant way. There were two items from Jhudora's pool in it, both of which have been replaced. Jhudoras Floating Candles Foreground (1 point) replaced with Pink Shenkuu Soup, and Jhudoras Cloud Stamp (680 points) replaced with Aethia Stamp.
This actually makes me REALLY happy, because the foreground was 240 points and exclusive to last year's festival, and had been dumped in at 1 point, completely demolishing its worth. (Do a bit of quick math - if you were donating the R102+'s for 10 points each, they were going for 10-20k EACH, that bugger needed 24 of them...yeah.) I am VERY glad TNT replaced those two items relatively quickly.

Luxinia is the mayor of New Faerieland (and my best friend!). I found her encased in a mysterious crystal that was floating on an unknown surviving piece of Faerieland in the sky! Queen Fyora helped free her from the crystal, but upon waking up, Luxinia recalled nothing about her past life except her name. She may not have all her memories, but she is working hard to bring life back to the island—all while trying to remember her own.

Day 4 Varia: The Gift of Calabrus is so old that it practically predates Faerieland (even Queen Fyora barely recalls it). It is said that long ago, a powerful being known as Calabrus lived in the sky, and her emotions determined the weather. But she was lonely, so she gave the very first ruler of Faerieland a gift to create a home with her, among the clouds. However, this is all just faerielore, so who knows what is true. But either way, the artefact was lost to time for aeons, until it mysteriously appeared in New Faerieland! We're not sure how it got here, but we sure are thankful for it!

Day 5 Varia:One of our good friends who lives up in New Faerieland is Tia. She's a seamstress whose passion is to recycle unwanted clothes into brand-new fashion statements! Since she gets most of her supplies from donations, she's set up a thrift shop to resell what she makes for cheap, so everyone can afford to wear what they love! A fun fact about Tia is that when she's not working on a new project, she's volunteering at all sorts of places. Just this month alone, she's volunteered at the soup kitchen, a nursing home, a youth art camp, and multiple petpet shelters!
