Hannah and the Lost Time Capsules Following the instructions of an Ancient Bori Scroll, Hannah has discovered the location of a Crystal that could restore balance to Neopia's volatile core. She's called on an old associate to help her unleash its power before it's too late...
There seem to be 4 clues for each of the weekdays this week, leading you to a specific page on the site. Currently, clues 1-4 are available. You must complete each clue to continue to the next. Each solved clue gives you a special item.
I'm actually NOT going to post the answers, as I had a fun time testing my own Neopian knowledge to figure them out! Clue #3 took me a few minutes, but just staring at the map of Neopia eventually led me in the right direction. (There are, of course, guides with links directly to each of the solutions.)
This has been a nice change of pace! The clues are clever (and sometimes very sneaky!). Kuddos to TNT on this one!
A few useful tidbits from the FAQ:
2) How long will the event last? Hannah and the Lost Time Capsules begins on November 11th and will continue till 11:59:59 PM NST on November 15th.
7) Do I have to participate every day? You know how these things work. You don’t have to, but if you want to make sure you won’t miss out on potential prizes, why risk it?
Day 2 complete. I joined in Y3, but I was pretty clueless until Y6 (where I was aware of the LDP but didn't know how to do it). I joined PPT in Y7. Yesterday's clues involved a bit of roaming, but today I was able to figure out exactly where to go.
Had trouble with clue 6 today, because it didn't pop up on my screen (maybe I clicked back too fast, and missed the pop-up because of that?). Spent forever looking for it, but apparently, I'd found it in one of the first places I looked...and the prize was in my inventory. *headdesk* Refreshed the page and was able to move on.
Day 2 done for me as well. I am not entirely sure what year I joined Neopets... Ah! User lookup... My Neo badge shows 15 years.... or more specifically in September of 2004 That means I joined Neo in Y5, I reckon. and here at PPT about 2 years later. Who woulda thunk that joining Neopets just to play the OG Brucey B slots for fun at work during lunch (and also play Whack-A-Kass to pay for that habit) would turn into a 15 year guilty pleasure?
Today's clues were indeed slightly easier than yesterday for me, even though I knew exactly the what, but forgot that the certain what does not reside in the Virtupets station...
And I don't know when it started, but it's also scores galore! Send 5 scores instead of 3! Which means I just had to play 5 games of Catch a Petpet and Fashion Fever, even though I don't usually bother with even 3 games of them.... Now time for Roodoku while I have a break at work.
Yes, the third clue for today really had me stumped for a while. I tried several different things that I thought might qualify but didn't work out. I didn't want to look up the answer directly, so I started going through JN's timeline to see if anything popped out at me and found it there.
Today's were much easier. I got misdirected on one of them, but then my brain kicked in shortly after I started looking in the wrong place and I face-palmed.
Wow, the dialogue suddenly got really dark. I love how when users actually NM other adults about an illness or something, TNT is all "but the children!!!" but then they turn around and throw in attempted murder and someone on death's door...
Today's were easier for me, too. I'm exhausted, but there was only one I needed a clue for.
Today was a little more challenging for me, except the last clue which may have been the easiest of all. The wording on the 2nd bonus was bothersome, but the avvie is nice.

That Year 18 clue is BS. If you go to the land in question's map, there is literally something labelled "harbour" right there! And it's not the BD arena! (And the BD arena on the map is not located anywhere near where a harbor could actually be. And clicking on it did not actually give me the pop-up; I had to click on the link on JN's page - and I actually had the same problem for the first clue today, too - I figured it out but couldn't get to the correct page through... the easiest way for me to navigate there.)
Blue, your spoiler made me laugh. I wonder how much of TNT are still located in the U.S., because that phrasing is quite odd.
I still don't get who attacked Kanrick and why. I've given up trying to follow TNT's storylines, though. They never make sense to me. Even this one, we were just thrown into the middle (which can be an exciting way to start, but I always feel like I'm missing important context that just isn't there).

...it was called the "Fool's Capsule". As in, April Fool's, I think. I mean, how many of us went and battled someone in the MI arena (or worse, all of them) to look for a harbour? <raises hand> I'll admit to having done so before I realized they were sneakily tricking us.
I clicked on the arena from the map page. How were you supposed to navigate to the correct page from the site? Same for the 17th capsule (I searched in the games room, knowing exactly where I wanted to go, but the link was not to the right place from there).
You shouldn't have to use a guide to navigate to the correct answer.
EDIT: I just found out there's a free goody bag in the NC Mall! And there were some free things on Neopets' birthday that I forgot about (free Buried Treasure - still discounted for the rest of the month - and free Swashbuckler training) since they don't really change how I play.
