I was wondering why I got the bonus when I clearly didn't click on the right thing... Not sure what the gingerbread is supposed to look like - a jinjah?
I liked today's animation - a nice AC tribute to the AC.
I also do not recall seeing the gingerbread, but clicking a random somewhere did yield the prize.
Sadly, the animation does not load or even appear to exist in my primary Neopets browser. Not sure why. I had to use FF to see the animation (and get bonus prize).
I believe the 'figures' on the calendar right at the end is what is suppose to be clickable. It isn't just a gingerbread man but different objects, such as a house, stocking, toy or Christmas cane that can be made out of gingerbread.
This AC is html5, so a few errors might pop up such as this. I think it is just a small coding error (something like a tag was left off).
Edit: After watching the video for like the 20th time, I actually saw the Jinja right at the end. So that is probably the gingerbread figure. That makes much more sense.
The new(?) html5 animations in the pages seem rather glitchy. Using FF again this morning for the Advent Calendar. Claiming the bonus was no problem. But when claiming the prizes, the page went wonky - the animation covered up the day prizes! I needed to go to my inventory to see what they were.
I also had to chuckle - I do not have ABP on FF and there is a nice big ad for Coors Light on the page. Nice frosty mountains on the can that fits in with the winter theme, but still...
Blue, I've had that problem everyday in Chrome (the animation covering the prizes). Yay for beautiful beach items for my gallery! Now if I could only get back into it... That would be the best Christmas present ever.
Bonus: Florange Brucicle And today Snowie gave me a negg. Woot! (I've visited him everyday, but just gotten the usual fare: void snowball and I think a book.)
Snowie: Faeries Fortune Scratchcard Bonus: Nimmo Winter Tales (accidentally clicked and got it before I even saw the jinjah... another glitch)
We've been having lows in the 50s and highs in the high 60s (yesterday was 69) all week in Georgia. It's supposed to get "cold" next week, though (lows in the 30s, highs in the 40s). Typical fall weather here has huge temperature swings: 30s-40s for the lows, with 60s (occasionally 70s) for the highs. We had a 52-degree swing in one day once. You almost need to carry an extra bag for all your layers. Even in the winter, it's usually 30s warming to 50s, rarely freezing. Not warm, but fairly mild. (Last winter we had more fall weather for most of it - even into the 80s in January - which was bad for agriculture. I like the warmer temperatures, but not what they're doing for the planet.
