I had to explore nearly the entire area before I found my Kari-requested negg, but my crystal negg was in the first spot I looked, for the second day in a row. Coincidence?

I didn't even have to worry about the puzzle - I found my Crystal negg while doing dailies, so that kinda gave away what land it was.

Okay, today's beat yesterday's -- Kari's negg was right on the land's main page, so no clicking required to hunt for it!

I'll probably go with the book, too. I wonder if the plushie is wearable. I might buy a negg or two (and/or extra books) for investment purposes, but it depends on the price.
