Before It Was a Pteri...

I thought this was appropriate to post now thanks to the recent downtime and glitches.

I seem to recall that before they had a red Pteri on the downtime pages there was a red Usul. I also seem to remember that it often changed to a different pet. Can anyone confirm this?

I kind of remember it being an angry Faerie Kougra at one point...other than that, I can only remember the Red Usul, and of course the infamous Red Pteri we all know and love

my vague memory tells me that it used to be an angry red usul staring at us during site downtime and different images when we go to a non-existing neopets sub-link

I believe sometime before all of those it was a sad Aisha (it escapes me if it was Red/Pink or Desert)

I remember the Usul and Faerie Kougra. I thought that when the site was down for a few days and they added Hannah and the Pirate Caves there was an island pet? I'm not sure if it was island, but I think it changed that weekend.
