Neopets Ad in the UK

This morning, I had Nick Toons on, and there was an advert for Neopets Altador Cup.
First time I've ever seen one apart from when they sponsored The Kids Bit on GM.TV a while back.

In the advert it says the Altador Cup 2 game finishes on July 8th, which is today

I think they advertised the altador cup last year, that or I dreamed seeing an altador cup advertisement on youtube.

I'm sticking with the first one XD

And yeah, last games on the 8th. My wish is that you get trophies based on where your team finished, not how many games you played, just to get some lively debate going.

Think of all the potential new members to neopets, who in perhaps a few days, weeks or months will realise that they on their own cannot become awesome at neopets. Perhaps, these intrepid individuals will feel that the average IQ of the neoboards is just a little too low, and they will search out a forum for discussion and debate that rivals no other...

PPT!!!

So it is indeed, along with those spammers and problems we get that new member who just somehow might manage to crack the next plot before everyone else, and tips YOU off, leaving you with a bountiful supply of awesome trophies and prizes!

oh trust me, I love the people that come to PPT. I dont, however, love people who bring down neopets by hacking, scamming or just being anoying New Member.

with the good there will always come the bad. its a fact of life. look at big cities. for every really good person, theres atleast 2 bad (boo for muggers and pickpockets!).

I guess all we can do is hope that this new generation is really, really good.

& send a message to all the bad people out there to find another site.

lol theres 3 types of people in my mind:
the really really good people who volunteer, give to charity, etc. the kinds of selfless acts that help those in real need.

then there are regular people who just go day in and day out working, raising their families, yanno, normal life.

& then there are bad people. those who harm other people or things.

i was talking about the 1st & 3rd types. sadly there are more people out there doing harm then those really fighting to make a different.

if you weigh in the 2nd group, then the bad folks are highly out numbered. but they still exist. because we dont live in a perfect world.

but back to neopets, I hope they are able to accomidate all the new people. there might be a site change/update in the future (much like the last one giving us the layout we have now). it'll be interesting to see how prices of things change and how numbers go up or down on things like pet species and the worth or rare items.
