BD changes?

Earlier I was battling the war opponent and the BD looked like it always has. But just now all my weapons got a 'Level 1' written underneath them. And people on the plot board are reporting that, unlike the 1-player opponents we're familiar with, this one can actually only use its one-use items once.

Do you guys think a BD upgrade might be part of the Neopets 2.0 revamp??

Wouldn't it be nice if every one of the faerie abilities actually did something, and having a higher level in it actually helped.

I'm loving the changes we're seeing in the Battledome so far. I hope they continue.

I would love to see the abilities become more useful. Invisibility and Shadow Health would be mind-blowing but wouldn't ruin the game if they were implemented right.

I've also wondered if they'd ever do something with ranged/close attacks. Since they got rid of the poses for them, I'm not as hopeful, but it would be interesting if they made it so that it made a difference.

1-player opponents have only been able to use their one-use items once for months now -- that's not recent. The item levels are, though, but they don't seem to be doing anything.
