The Grand Prizes

At the end of the challenge, several books were given out as bonus prizres to those that had completed additional requirements.

You can collect them here

The Ultimate Prize - Defeat AAA on the launch day of all 31 games: Defeating the Master
Uberiffic - Defeat AAA or Abigail on the launch day of all 31 games: Carnival of Terror Guide Book
Megasuperb - Defeat AAA at all 31 games by the end of the Daily Dare's 31st day: Game Guide: Volcano Run
Spifftastic - Defeat AAA or Abigail at all 31 games by the end of the Daily Dare's 31st day: Bumper Cars Guide Book

I got the Bumper Car book. The price of the Ultimate one is WoW! :o

Carnival of Terror Guide Book for me :). And ooh, I'm not complaining, but it really really bugs me now I didn't try harder to beat AAA. I know I could've done it, but I was too lazy in the beginning and just tried to get the daily dare wiped from the day's schedule. I mean, the Uberiffic prize goes for 25k @ SW, and The Ultimate Prize goes for 10 mil on the TP. :roflol:
I think I'm not alone on this.

Is "Defeating the Master" really worth several million or do people just have high expectations?

Thu Apr 05, 2007 11:48 am

A mixture of both I think. They are selling from 7-10 million on the TP.

And guess how much my prize is worth......... 7,000 np and falling

Last time I ever try on one of these kinds of challenges

And on the TP or SW, theres not a single Game Guide: Volcano Run.

I think we should get certain prizes based on how many AAA and Abi defeats we had, because 30 AAA and 1 Abi got the same as 0 AAA and 31 Abi.

Deafeating the Master isn't really worth that much, but I got an offer of like a Pirate Paint Brush, Honey Potion, and 800K for my book. They're not 10 Mil, but certainly 2Mil+ is a reasonable offer right now. I'm pretty sure this is just inflated stuff right now because there are actually people looking to buy them. They're just books, so the demand will subside even though there will be slight continued interest in them like all other books.

All I got was the Bumper Cars Guide Book because I stink at the games.

Thu Apr 05, 2007 1:38 pm

I got.... da dada dar! NOTHING! Because I'm a big eejit and I clicked the highest score on Meerca Chase, which I had no way of doing at 4am on Sunday morning. :roflol:

I'm happy enough though. We got an avatar out of it and the prizes boosted my SDB a wee bit!

With respect to the prizes - keep in mind they're one-time items, and they're all books, which means they'll ALL climb in value. If you aren't too sure about unloading yours now, hang on to it. I'd reckon they'll all have values over 80k np at the end of this year.

Thu Apr 05, 2007 2:22 pm

The prize for getting the Ultimate rank is a brand new item, only available from March 07's Daily Dare. The other prizes can be gotten from the book shop.

So the super inflation of the highest prize kinda makes sense.

I think a lot of people made this mistake. Only "Defeating the Master" is a one-time-only item. Could explain why for instance "Game Guide: Volcano Run" was sligthly over 100k before prizes were handed out and now is priced at a whopping 350k+

Oh wel. At least it wasn't a PB or something.

Even though they are worth money, I don't feel to bad for missing out. Stupid Dubloon Disaster.

You mean you could get the rest of the books from the book shop? Then how would you explain the huge price on the megasuperb prize? I've gotten that book.

I guess the sudden increase in demand. There are likely quite a few people collecting the Daily Dare items.

Really? Bummer. I'd not seen any of them before.

Well, nevermind then. Sell or hang on to them, it might be the same result either way.
