dice-a-roo jackpot win - another joke?

I was just playing dice-a-roo with the current large jackpot, and I won this. who-hhoo, right? i wonder where my 9001510 neopoints are.

No, it is not a joke, but a very annoying glitch.

I posted a screenie on gloat and cry when I 'won' the jackpot at 6 million.

Dice-a-roo has been glitched for almost a week now.

Ugh.. they still haven't fixed this glitch?

It's gonna end up like TYS, pre-makeover that made it winnable.

They're supposed to be making a dice a roo 2 soon, so maybe they're just going to do a big update.

Fri Dec 22, 2006 5:37 pm

really? :o
I hope they don't mess it up when they update it. Dice-a-roo is my favorite "original" (nearly original...) game.

I'm not going to lie...I don't really like dice-a-roo...it seems like a waste of time and np...I've never gotten anything good from it, so I rarely play it anymore.

I usually get decent food items from it. Is it a NP drain? Yes, most of the time. But, it also includes lots of legitimate page refreshes...I've gotten some awesome random events while playing.

Dice-a-Roo 2 has been on the "Coming Soon" list since forever... o_O

Oh well, congrats on "winning" the jackpot; I haven't ever reached there :( The avatar will never be mine

I won the jackpot a few times, but haven't been able to win it since they added the avatar. Figures.

Dice a roo is a bit boring and hard to win, but the cost of the food you win from it is usually worth playing. plus, every once in a while you could win a faerie.

when you're never going to spend more than 300-400 neopoints on it (your pet stops playing before you spend that much), 2+ 150 NP items per day and a possible faerie occasionally is a pretty good deal.

Yeah, that's why I play too. It can be infuriating to lose on the first roll six times in a row, but you'll eventually make well over what you spend in food items. Plus, the refreshes are very nice - lots of random events!

I have to agree with the Random Events being a nice kick to it. that's why I love games like Dice-a-Roo, Pyramids, and GoGoGo. During Pyramids, I got my first Secret Lab Map piece, and during Dice-a-Roo last night, I got a Petpet lab map.

I got so many events while working toward the gold trophy in GoGoGo! I was playing that on Neopet's Birthday, as well. I just hope that the new Dicearoo keeps all those page loads.

Dice-a-roo is profitable to me almost always. A stack of food, and a codestone or fairie or map about once a weekor2. Once I even won the lottery with a lottery ticket I won from dice a roo. I've won dice-a roo a few times - never more than a few K nps - but usually I miss it from refreshing too fast, the first time was "whats this new avatar?"

I just had lucky timing to catch my 9,000,000 np win live on a screenie. which is about all it is worth.

Too bad if they take it down.

Hmm....that 13 mil jackpot is very tempting.

It probably is a joke, to watch a commonly won jackpot soar so high..but non of us able to get it.

*sigh*

Prank or not, it still disappoints me
