The last Pet Spotlight award of the week has been given to a Flotsam called Calaehn.
Pet Central Update! - While we're working on revamping Pet Central (yes, we're actually working on it!), it's gotten a slight update to make it less confusing in the meantime. One big change to note is that the competitions are now listed on their own page instead of on Pet Central itself (in case you were looking for them). If there are any big sections missing that you can't get to from elsewhere on the site, let us know!
The newest issue of the Neopian Times has been released! Keep your eyes open for great stories and adventures like Dangerous Petpets of Neopia and Queen Fyora's Guide to Status Symbols.
This week's Neoadventure Spotlight goes to katzie7 for Defeat of the Snowager!.

Tale of Woe Prize Update! - We've finished the task of dividing up the plot and have assigned point scales based on all the different sections. Your points are now being tallied by a fancy script that is better at math than we are. Once that's done, we can look at the spread and determine prizes. So, we're getting there.

Maybe its just me but doesn't the advertisment kind of overwhelm everything else on the page being right in the middle.

The advertisement on the temporary pet central page...and yes, it bothered me a great deal! It also makes everything look crunched around it.

I only saw an advertisement when my country was USA. I changed it to Antarctica, and the advertisement turned into a nice picture of faeries and pets
I like how theyre giving updates on prizes. Its better than being in the dark and having no idea whats up. I like the muted rainbow colors on that Sklyde too.

Wow, they really are getting busy this year! They've had that "we know it's messy but bear with us" sign up on Pet Central forever. I didn't think it was messy to begin with, but if they were planning to change it, I'm glad they've finally gotten around to it.
