News - Big Update!

* Games Room Update! - As promised, there's a big suprise today in the Games Room. We've added many new categories, the ability to rate a game's difficulty, links to related games and site features, a new design, and loads of other stuff. Head on over and take a look if you like.



Careful where you step, though. The new Games Master doesn't like people getting muddy paw prints all over his precious Games Room.

* The Book Shop has four new game guides on sale.



* Well done puchichan! You have just won the latest User Lookup of the Week award.

* New Game - In celebration of the new Games Room, we've completely rebuilt a very old game from the ground up. Why not give Ugga Smash! a try?



* Congraulations makgan. You have just won this week's Gallery Spotlight award with your gallery dedicated to Neoquest II.

* There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was Island Bori. 259 people guessed correctly, earning them 7,723 NP each.

* The Bakery has baked up some game themed treats!



* Why not add this snazzy Blog to your shop?

* If you are tired of your tattered old scratch and sniff stickers replace them with these newly-released vintage Neopets stickers, which come with Virtual Prize Codes and are on sale at Limited Too!



* Chibipawsera has a shiny Meridell Castle Spotlight trophy heading their way thanks to their level - A Perfect Nightmare.

* There is a new page of fan art for you to look at in the Art Gallery.



* Google Search - You may have noticed a "Search Google" feature on the sidebar. In addition to searching Neopets.com, you can now search Google as well. Just select the radio button next to "Search Google" and anything you search will take you to a Google results page.

If the update crashed the site and made it all laggy, I'd rather not have the update. I'm happy as long as the site can load...now it's not even loading! And now I'm not happy.

Edit: They updated the gamesroom and "downdated" the shops? I have no shop! The shop wiz is loading...I'm expecting to see "I cannot find anything please try again and I'll search elsewhere" if everyone's shop disappears...

Okay, so the google thing wasn't the big update, but that still doesn't excuse how awful it is.

And why did they have to update the game room? It was fine. Or if they did, why did they have to update it TODAY? Why couldn't they wait until the 5x game thing was over? *bangs head repeatedly on desk* I am really not happy about all this.

Oh god, now that I can actually see the game room, it looks TERRIBLE!! I can't even see how to get to my favorites. It really sucks, I want the old game room back!

Meeeep! I know it's hard to get used changes at first, but ... the new games room is so darn BRIGHT! And bold! It's so hard to know where to look. *frantic eyes*

Surely we don't need all the primary colours in one page!

At first I can't too, but I tried adding a game to my faves and found it. It's here. I love the favourites! It's still the old gamesroom style. I agree with Mazil; the new games room has too many primary colours. *ouch...my eyes...*

Yes, I know, luckily I had that url saved, or I would have spend forever looking around thinking my favorites were gone. But there's no link to it on the main games room page, which I don't like. And I miss the picture of the Mynci hugging the Blumaroo, that was cute. XD

Edit: Ahhh!!! What's wrong with Gotchi Crowd Patrol?? When I play it, I see no words and I tried sending score but I couldn't. Anyone else with the problem?

Yep there seems to be a problem with all the sponsor games unfortunately - I get the score needs to be reviewed message, and so have a few other people on PPT. Lurked on the neoboards and it seems to be happening to a few of the 'normal' games too. Tonight is going to be a very poor night, np's wise *goes back to clicking on Pyramids*
