Horde

I was thinking about the different types of collections on neopets. You can collect stamps, shells, and other things. I was thinking about the draiks and even though I don't have a draik, I was thinking about how cute it would be to have a little horde of gems for it. I think there are some gem-like toys, like the sparkling ruby. There is another thing called an enormous fake diamond, but alas, you can't play with it. I was thinking that neopets should make a place like the draik nest, but it would be called the horde. It would be basically just a small cave with a depression in the middle. Then your pet could put things into the hole. I think it would be cute to put some of the gem-like toys into the hole, and then you could visit the horde at times to make your pet happy. It would work like the merri-go-round, but it would be up to your pet to create it's horde.

So anyway, I think they should release more of the gem-like toys to go into the horde. You could watch your pile grow bigger and bigger. Your pet could "sleep on horde" "guard horde" and "roll in horde"
and this would make them happy.

If they are guarding the horde it would say "Your pet lays on the pile and growls low in its throat, warning anyone who may be around that this is his treasure."

If your pet is sleeping on the horde it would say "Piles of gems may not seem like a good bed, but apparently your pet thinks so."

Or if you choose "roll in horde" It would say "your pet rolls around happily in all the gems."

If your pet is a Lupe or Usul, maybe it would like to collect bones or acorns.

I don't know what other pets would like to collect.

That's a good idea.
Maybe our pets can collect more stuff and put into the horde, like plushies. Maybe it can hold anything, including scooters.
Maybe TNT will create something called the "junk pile", where our pets put all the storage things they want. Our pets may even steal food from our SDB if they are hungry, and stuff it into the "junk pile" (it'll appear as an RE)!
Erm...I'm thinking too much. Let's just stick to your idea.

I think the one you're looking for is hoard. Unless it's supposed to be a Warcraft pun. As for the idea itself, I'm not that interested. I'd like to see them separate all the collectables first so that evil coconuts, seashells, coins, and stamps aren't all magically squished into the same book.

Smudge, you have quite an imagination. That does sound interesting. Because if you think about it, your pets really can't do too much right now. Just play with one item at a time. Would be fun to have them guarding their hoard of goodies.

I can see how that would be something neat for all the dragonlike pets on neo - draiks, scorchios, skeiths, shoyrus. . . krawks and hissies might count. But what would all the other pets hoard? what would a chia or a yurble want enough of to roll around in?

Hmm...makes me think...maybe TNT should just expand our neohome and make us really "see" our pet in our neohome...and garden too! Maybe we can teach 'em which is the living room, which is the bedroom etc. And maybe we'll see them sleep on the bed!...
