15th November - Neopets Birthday!
* Happy Birthday to us, Happy Birthday to us...
**HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEOPETS!**
* Exactly seven years ago today Neopets first went live to the world. We would like to thank all our fans for supporting us and helping us grow into what we currently are. Here's to another great year! *GROUP HUG*
* Try to get hold of one of these special birthday goodie bags. They are on sale at the Toy Shop and each contain lots of cool birthday surprises.
* soggytaco's birthday-themed User Lookup has proven to be a hit in the Neopets office.
* If you can't make it to the bakery, never fear. There is a random event all day today that will be giving slices of Neopets birthday cake!
* You may notice a different side bar, this will be available to everyone all day long
* The Tale of Woe - Sophie's determination kicks in hopes rest on her latest potion. Meanwhile, Gilly enters the strange building in the middle of the woods. Chapter 13 has just been released!
* This week's Gallery Spotlight award has been given to princess_peace001 for their shop dedicated to Neopets Birthday.
* It wouldn't be a birthday without birthday cake would it? The Bakery has just finished mixing up four new cakes just for the occasion.

I got the Happy Birthday avatar on my second visit to the New Features page, so I'm assuming you get it by refreshing there.

According to AvatarLog, that is correct. Since I read about the avatar on the new features page early this morning, I have been tyring to get it without success. However, I apparently got it last year because it was already in my avatar list.

I just got the goodie bag as a random event; it's called Neopets 7th Birthday Goodie Bag.
Now...I need everyone's advice here. Should I sell it now, or wait?

Sell it now or if it's low at the moment wait till its retired (by this time next year.) As more are going to be distributed through REs over the year it's going to be cheaper and cheaper.
