I've had some strange things going on, I don't know if its related. Random things such as that one daily inquiry game (dunno which one, maybe Aly & AJ) was not submitting my scores saying that I already submitted my max 3 while it was clearly after 9 GMT +1 (so new Neoday). Later, I think next hour at 10 GMT+1, it worked fine though and my other dailies also worked just fine even inquiries (click through ones, you know).
Also, one odd thing I've had is the following: I play WoM and then another game
not full screen. The window with WoM is not minimized and WoM spins fine, but the game I play as well severely lags. Almost unplayable! Now, when I minimize WoM it works fine again. So while this may be an issue (Flash related?) this doesn't seem to be Neopets related to me. Also, in some games (a bit of) lag may be useful, in some not.
Huggles his/her post also reminded me about Whack-A-Kass it is obvious the audio and video are not in sync. I hear the sounds are made approx 1 sec later. Now, I usually put sounds off anyway as they irritate the hell out of me, but, with Whack-A-Kass that is not possible. It is also true with Pterattack, when I shut off sound in the game, the sound made to indiciate the audio is off comes slightly too late lets say half a second. With DD where you also cannot put the sounds off I have this too sometimes, not always. I'm not sure why this sometimes happens, but I doubt this particular issue is Neopets related since the game once it runs runs in Flash on your computer. For example, you could load Pterattack, unplug Internet, play it, plug Internet, submit score. Usually I just put sound off in the game, put my boxes off, put my boxes sound lower while Winamp higher, or alternatively use my second soundcard. No audio means more or less peace to me, better focus. Esp if its not synced.
PS: I'll see if I can find relations between CPU or RAM, but I have an Athlon 3000+ (Venice) and 1 GB RAM, about half in use most of the time. So that should be no issue!
