Frozen, suggestions?

Hello.
I'm a long time Neopet player, first time PPT forum user. About 7 months ago I was frozen for of all things, auto-buying.

I had e-mailed a few staff members to no avail. Waited weeks for a reply, nothing. Finally I got a reply about a month later and lets just say it was some of the worst customer support I've ever had. I was basically told to get lost and that I should never contact this person again. The strange thing was after a few e-mails back and forth he said something about scamming. When I asked what that was about he said he couldn't tell me why I was frozen. When I explained why they might think I was scamming, I was once again told to end contact with him.

So I gave up for a while. A few months later I tried contacting different staff members, but no one ever replies now. I've tried e-mailing certain staff and filling out the form. No matter how polite, what I ask, what I say, I never hear anything back. It's been months since I've had any contact from staff.

Has anyone else just been flat out ignored? Have I been 86'ed by Neopets? :o I saw in the FAQ that you can actually snail mail the staff about your account being frozen, do you think this would have any affect on getting a reply? I'm really sort of confused as to why I'm being ignored. The first staff member was a jerk, but I was always polite, as were all of my e-mails to other staff. I didn't spam them, I always waited weeks after mailing one staff member to send another e-mail to someone else. So yes, any suggestions on my particular situation would be great.

Thank you.

Oh, and if you're wondering about me being frozen, yes it was a mistake. Well, I take it as being a mistake. I just happened to restock the wrong item and was mass reported, thus I was frozen. This whole scamming business is strange though, but I did recieve some very expensive birthday gifts about 2-3 days beforehand, which anyone who sent me something can vouch for.

Sounds like TNT think you have done something seriously wrong.

It might have something to do with how people found out you restocked an item to be "mass reported, thus I was frozen". Some things sound very suggestive when taken out of context.

You can TRY writing to them via Snail Mail, but I have never heard of ONE person to recieve acknowledgement or reply of any kind. I know that I never did when I wrote them about my frozen account.

Good Luck

I personally wasn't mass reported, disgruntled restockers reported the item as being bought with a program, and since I did restock said item I ended up being frozen for it. Apparently this happens a lot with certain items, especially in Battle Magic. This was not what I told the support staff either, it was just the best and quickest way I could think to describe it in my post here.

I guess I'll leave out snail mail then, if I can't get an e-mail reply and no one's been able to get a reply via mail, then I'm bound to not get one either.

sames happened to me

my account probably wasn't that good compared to your guys (5mil on account) but i still liked it

i've tried 3 times to get my account back, they said i made raffle draws (which i deny), but you're right, the customer service is pathetic. they take about 3 months on average to make a reply!! so frustrating, especially when you get rejected >_<
