Mystery Island is blurry!

Has anyone noticed that Mystery Island has suddenly become blurry? The image for the island just looks a little softer than it used to. I have perfect vision without any glasses or anything, so it can't be a problem on my end. It's just a little odd

Don't worry, it's not just you!
It's been mentioned a few times in the Cyodrake's Gaze thread -- no one's really settled on a reason for it though.
Kinda gives you a headache after a while haha

It's good that I memorized where the Tombola is on the image map, or else I'd be trying to read the blurry signs to try and find it every day, and that would definitely bring about a headache.
