i need help i think neo has a new glitch

Tue Jul 13, 2004 10:24 pm

ok well i have sent two forms in since i got home from a 2 days away from home thing for a funeral. i come home and my account of 3 years is frozen. it says i used a auto buyer. b4 i left home my account was fine. and i hadn't gotten on my account till i got back monday. they haven't replied or anything to my forms i guess it might take awhile but today my friend sent in a bug report because a lot of ppl have been getting frozen for having a auto buyer when they have never used one b4. one of the frozen ppl went lookin throughout their whole comp lookin to see if they had anything neopets would think is wrong. the only thing they found on their comp was a spyware that was doing weird things on the comp. i was wondering could that of caused the glitch. i know i didn't use a auto buyer and come to think of it one of the accounts frozen was a newbie who had no money yet to even use the program which i heard u have to have money for. what can i do to get my account back?

i'm not sure about it tho... but about the newbie account that was frozen for using an auto-buy i think it's just a fake newbie account used to autobuy then sent to the owner's real main account..

auto buyer

well the thing is the newbie account didn't have one casue i know it didn't because it was my bf's accout. they froze his other one he had for awhile because they said he used the auto buyer when he didn't and he even checked his comp to see if anything on there would do something to cause that and he only found a single spyware. he made himself a new account to start anew and they froze him only seconds after he got the account.

If you rs manually alot and get alot of items very quickly neo might think your using autobuyer and neo has nothing else to write a reason with so they just slab that reason on.

You could try emailing TNT and asking what proof they have, but I don't know how long it'd take them to reply.

well i tried filling out the form twice trying to explain to them how i wasn't even home and i never used the autobuyer but i got nothing yet from them. then a friend of mine sent in two bug reports about it and yet again nothing. i am gonna try a snail mail letter send off today. maybe that will work i dunno.

This is what makes me think TNT are idiots. Hardly anyone who actually uses the AB get frozen but people who don't use it do get frozen. And it's because TNT underestimate humans themselves. They think that if a human gets a few unbuyables and refreshes shops pretty fast that it's an autobuyer. And the reason actual autobuyers dont get frozen is because they don't use a constant refresh interval. I would think TNT would check out the autobuyer and think about how it's very possible that humans can refresh a page and type stuff pretty fast...
