The 5th is coming up... so I was wondering... Do people actually buy these for the price I see them for on the SW? 80-90K? I want that avatar, want it very much, but near a 100K made just like that is hard to pass up. Any comments?

Yes, people do pay that much. That is why there are portions of the Neopian and Pink Poogle Toy community that are so up in arms about avatar inflation.

They are slowly going down in general price. People who are willing to pay a lot for them already have the avatar. More than that, everyone knows when they will be playing next. They'll never be unbuyable again and will probably drop below 20k after the next bunch is released.

Well, I'll think I'll try getting one, putting it in my shop for 70-80K, and if no one buys it, I'll just go and watch it myself.

i would recommend selling it cos it will be on sale again next month.

I decided to sell after all. I put it up for 39,500 (the average price is about 40k right now), and it went in 30 seconds. Sweetness.

I sniped one for 3000 NP but missed one for 7000. People are hoarding them more than I thought they would. I sold mine to the mega-hoarders for 45k.

Prices just jumped greatly. When I looked, prices are anywhere from 60k and up

I'm kind of surprised by the jump in price overnight: I would have thought the price would drop as people became less inclined to buy such expensive tickets so many months after the avvie was first released.

Ah well. A 38k profit is still a 38k profit.

I used it to get the avatar this month, but next month I'll definitely sell it, goodness knows I could use the nps to train up my pet! I got up really early to make sure I got one of the tickets, they went SO fast!
