Help with creating an Adoption Centre

Hey,

I have searched around and found out a lot about the rules and terms i need to follow with owning an adoption centre so am pretty up to scratch on that and have finally reached lab map access (thank you to he ppt members that helped me get my finally 13k ) but at the moment I would like to know any tips/help/ideas with what should go with/on an adoption centre and how they should run properly?

That is my adoption centre at the moment with not much on it espically since my lab pet is new and is not a painted colour

My plan is to adopt unwanted neopets and zap them into more loveable colours for anyone to adopt. My main idea is to show them on that page so anyone interested in adopting them can fill out an application form (I will put a template for people to fill out on the page later) and neomail me, then once I have chosen the person I think will best suit that pet, arrange a time with them to pound the neopet.

But with showing more then one painted pet on the site I thought maybe an idea could be to ask if anyone else wants to show their painted pets on the site too so theres more selection, i know this will take time for people to get inerested in using the site but have also thought about offering a link under (the not yet up) affiliates section to any other lab zappers that want to join the site. Cos i know the more painted pets up for adoption the better and more popular the site will be.

But in saying that does anyone else have any ideas that may help? Or an adoption centre of their own (or one they know of) that I could take a look at?

Its my new pet page project (now that ynd is done) so anything helps

p,s any artist willing to help create a banner for the page would be great too, just send me a message or something (yep im pretty useless with art and drawing lol)

I haven't been through many adoption sites - I was in a rather dead guild for a bit, though.

I'd be happy to have you put my zapped pets up, though. I currently have a Christmas Zafara ready to be adopted, up in the adoption thread.

oh wonderful ^.^ i'll finish the basics of the page today and your pet can be the first one up for adoption on it mine won't until its a new zapped colour (got +3 str today tho hehe) ill let you know wen its up

I just recently got my lab map, too. Currently, I haven't gotten anything interesting (well, a white Acara, but I'm keeping her as a permanent lab rat). I'll let you know if I get anything nice...

As far as TNT are concered (as far as i have reasearched) the only things you are not allowed to do are..

- ask for NP or items in exchange for a pet
- assure someone they WILL get the pet (as they may not through the pound)

Im gunna make sure I put a big fat note on my page stating about the chance of someone else grabbing the pet in the pound and how its not 100% that you will get it etc

I would be willing to zap pets for this project. I can only do one at a time because I have three pets on my main. I have a side account with room for three pets, but I don't really want to spend the NP on another lab map and it's not like you can zap more than once a day anyway. PM me or send me a neomail if you want. I'm aichmophile there too.

I wound definitely be interested in showing my painted pets that are up for adoption on your page. Previously I'd thought about doing the same thing (making a page for it and all), but I'm kinda lazy so I devoted my page to the adventures of zapping. I'd have issues putting pets up for adoption right now because not only do I have four pets, but two have aging petpets attached, one is still being zapped (plus, he's my first neopet so I don't think I'll give him up), and the fourth is just my plain gnorbu. But once one of the petpets is finally aged I'll definitely be interested in putting cute labbed pets from the pound onto your page for adoption.
