I have been thinking about starting to do some quests on Neopets only I dont know wich I should choose. What are all my options? Also what usualy doesnt cost much and what (do you think) gives the best prizes?

From my limited experience, the Snow Faerie gives you the best bang for your buck. So long as you don't spend more than 3-4k on a given quest, you're usually bound to at least break even.
To be honest, I don't usually do the other quests, because the prizes don't seem worth it.

I've gotten some pretty good items from the Esophagor before, such as a Golden Ball Fountain, a Miamouse, and one time even a Krawk Island Team Hand. On the other hand, one time I got a Dung Cookie (good thing I only spent 2 NP on the item!

)
Since there IS a chance you can get ripped off, I only do the quest if the items he asks for are less than 100 NP each. That way, even if he gives you a lame item, at least you won't have spent much and you can just turn around and sell the item (usually for a modest profit). If he asks for any food over 1000 NP, don't bother doing it.
I'd also like to second Officer's guidelines for the Snow Faerie quests. Finally, I also do Kitchen Quests occasionally. On those, I try not to spend more than 2000 NP total.
Hope this helps!

I agree -
Snow Faerie is often good, although you have to have a limit (mine is 3000).
The
Brain Tree can be good too, but the
Esophagor often asks for crazy stuff (you have to do 2 Esophagor quests to get the answers for the Brain Tree) - I find I only complete both parts of the Brain Tree maybe 1 out of 10 or 15 times, but it's usually worth it when I do.
Here's the other ones I know of, in case you're interested:
Kitchen Quest - gives out stats, instead of prizes... usually ok, but you can't control which pet gets it

(my limit's around 2500 for this one, although I rarely do them any more)
Edna - almost never worth it, but there is a (random) avatar (my limit is more like 1000 for this one - you get about 150 back usually)
Jhudora &
Illusen - avatars at level 20 - prizes aren't great until around 25/30 (Illusen can give you a honey potion, but I've never made it that far - I always run into a UB with nobody around on the TP) [Note: you can only do one or the other each day - they don't like each other]
Hope this helps - and good luck!

I double agree. The Snow Faerie is probably the best. One of her quests singlehandly made me (literally) a millionaire (the prize was a Plushie Chomby MP). So, really, you can't go too wrong with her.

I thought Kitchen Quest also gave food items?
Taelia is the best to do quests for. (Snowballs!

)
All four of Edna, Esophagor, Taelia and Kitchen often ask for ridiculously expensive items. Just let the time run out and try again. I seem to recall you're limited to a certain number per day for these four together.
Illusen and Jhudora don't like eachother so you can't switch without having to wait until the next day. You can however do a quest every twelve hours as long as you stick with one of them. Unbuyables start at level 30 or so, so it's very hard to get the really good rewards.

I've been doing Edna's quests trying to get the avatar. Sometimes she asks for some really expensive items, but you can cancel and get another quest fairly quickly -- I usually only spend <1000 NP total for hers. She's not really worth it except for the avatar, though (the most she's given me is 1300NP).
I've read that you can accept an Esophagor quest, then go to the Brain Tree before solving the Esophagor quest to ensure that at least one of the Esophagor quests will be cheap. I haven't tried this myself.
On my eleventh Illusen quest, I ended up spending 80K (I debated starting over, but decided against it). But the 20th one (for the avatar) was only 100NP. You only get an item every third or fourth quest from Illusen and Jhudora; they only give you 16 minutes, and if you don't succeed, you have to start again at the beginning.
I've gotten mostly junk from the Snow Faerie, but I did get 20k in items and NP from her once, so I've probably come out ahead on hers... I haven't really tried any of the others. I'd suggest having the SW open in another window when doing any faerie quest. I accepted Illusen's quest and had a real faerie quest pop up on the acceptance page. Fortunately, I was able to get help in the quests board and finish both quests in the 16 minutes, but it was rather stressful.

Snow Faerie's good.
If you're going to do the Brain Tree, do your first Esphagor quest first. That way, you'll know how expensive at least one of the quests will be - don't do it if it's insanely expensive.

Kitchen Quest can give either a random amount of neopoints, a random item (I've gotten food, toys and furniture and so on before), or a level up on a random stat.

erm... don't think that works, if you get the Esophagor quest before the Brain Tree one, you'll get a random item instead of an answer.

Nope, it actually does work. I do it all the time and I get the Brain Tree answer.

No, it does work.
You get the quest, and if it's worth it then go and get the Brain Tree one,
then complete the first Esphagor quest.

What you must do is see your first esophagor quest, then see the brain tree one, then do the esophagor one. then do another one and your're good.
my personal favourite is esophagor. i haven't gotten anything off of the snow faerie lately, and i don't recall getting anything good at any point.

(normaly i would edit my previous post but i want people to know i posted in this topic)
Okay I have another Quest question. How much would you normaly spend on a quest? I've tried to do two snowfarie quests and they have both been 30,000 np so I havent done them. What do you think a good limit is for spending on buying items when it comes to quests?
