Where's the free Islandberry Crunch cereal gone?

I've been feeding my pets cereal at this link for months, but today the link redirects me to here. Is the Cereal feeding over?

For me, the page doesn't fully load, and I get a message that says:

"sorry, this is not viewable from country ()."

This happened with the free Pepsi a while ago when their sponsoring contract or whatever expired. Seems kinda odd that a Neopets product would do that, but there you go. There are still two more places to get daily free food, here and here.

When it came out, I couldn't view it without changing my preferences to US, and even then I couldn't view it

But someone on the neoboards said it was once a week when it first came out *shrugs*

Anyway, about the Islandberry Cereal, it says you cane view it from GB2 or something like that, so I assumed it's expired. Now my side account pets live on free soup

ive had a few neomails today concerning this from people who use my Dailies Page, anyone know whats going on with it? wether the promotion is now finished or wether the link is just broken (and how to fix).. funny thing is considering its Neopets cereal and not really a free sponsor food link, i wouldn't of thought it would "run out" if you get what i mean. unless they are no longer making the cereal anymore or something

My bet is that, if it's redirecting, it was done on purpose and really is over. Why, I don't know. Otherwise it would probably be an error or page not found. *Shrugs* Try going back to it every once in a while, and if it still doesn't come back, then yes, it's definitely gone.

It's not there if you go the long way via mainshops/cereal adventures either. So, it would probably be pretty safe to say that promotion is now over.

Hmm...if you click on the 'Islandberry Crunch' part of the flash map, then click on the 'Islandberry' sign on the far right, you get this story thing. Keep hitting the right arrow until you reach the end which gets you 1000 nps. But it only works once.

(I don't know if this is old or not...)

Yep, the reward for reading the story has been there for ages. But hey, at least you finally got the NP....and maybe others who didn't know about it will see the thread and can get their NP too.

I work at a Super Target (the ones with grocery stores in them) and the cereal is on clearance. They've stopped making it (aparently) which is probably why they've stopped offering the free food.
