"I'm going away on holiday next week," the Lenny Conundrum Lenny says, "but I put this puzzle together a few weeks ago to keep you occupied while I'm gone. In fact, the solution to the puzzle is the actual destination of my holiday!"
And he shows you a scrap of paper with this written on it:
170: 251 - 121 + 441 - 340 + 130 - 113 + 409 - 253 + 130 - 181 + 297 - 149 + 081 - 088 + 467 - 059 + 306 - 229 + 345 - 351 + 117 - 047 + 353 - 216 + 401 - 147
Where will the Lenny Conundrum Lenny be going next week?

Ummm, technically we're on round 175 (a new topic was never made for last week's since it related to the week before's). But anyway, we had some discussion about the new one in the old thread, so here's a recap of the helpful hints I gleaned from the neoboards last night (I know, living on the edge with the rumors of cookie-grabbers, but I switched off the html from the boards).
1) This puzzle relates to LC 170.
2) MS Paint or Photoshop can be helpful.
3) I think you can use the pairs of numbers (first + number, first - number = pair 1, etc.) as coordinates in LC 170 to find certain letters. The letters spell out the answer.
4) The answer is a strange place to vacation, so if you randomly guess, you'll almost certainly be wrong. Since the top 250 is most likely gone, take your time.
The sad thing is, I was the first one to figure out you had to use LC 170 and the coordinates thing, but I couldn't actually figure out the solution and randomly guessed. I've gotten neomails (and a puppyblew) from 5 different people thanking me for my help, though, so I still think I was on the right track... I hope these hints can help some PPTers.

I can confirm that Siniri's hints are useful. i also say that most of the third hint is a bit too revealing.

Bah, if that is a "revealing hint," I definitely won't be getting a prize on this one.
So, I just went and shuffled the numbers around to get a longitude, and mapquested it and put in the closest location to that.
Hee hee!!

That was just a wild stab I took -- I couldn't work it out so I threw it out there on the neoboards. Then suddenly all these people started getting the answer (I still haven't figured it out). I figured since I'd already inadvertantly ruined this one by posting to the boards (I've seen other people reposting that info, too), I'd go ahead and let PPTers in on the fun, too. Usually I'm not one to give too big a hint; I like to let people get it on their own. I just didn't
know I was ruining the puzzle.
But if you want me to edit my original post and remove hint 3, I can. Just let me know.

Since it's well into the second week now: Fiddle with your preferences in Paint if you don't see any relationship between LC170 and the coordinates.

Solution
The "170" means to use the picture from Lenny Conundrum Number 170.
170: 251 - 121 + 441 - 340 + 130 - 113 + 409 - 253 + 130 - 181 + 297 - 149 + 081 - 088 + 467 - 059 + 306 - 229 + 345 - 351 + 117 - 047 + 353 - 216 + 401 - 147
Turn the numbers above (except the 170) into coordinates like this:
(251, 121)
(441, 340)
(130, 113)
(409, 253)
(130, 181)
(297, 149)
(081, 088)
(467, 059)
(306, 229)
(345, 351)
(117, 047)
(353, 216)
(401, 147)
Find the coordinates on the picture above. You can use Paint by turning on the status bar (View -> Status Bar), like this:
(mouse cursor 'shopped in using Paint - just point at the place using whatever tool you like)
The dots mark, in order, the following letters:
- Code:
G I A N T O M E L E T T E
