Probably wouldn't be necessary for an entire board, since most scammers get frozen pretty quick.

Bingo. There's no reason to post scammer alerts unless you find a prominent new method in how people are being scammed, then you can inform us and help people from getting caught by it. Otherwise, unnecessary.
