Lutari Talisman???

Well, the team i was on for the altador cup, (haunted woods) won the cup right? so i went to my userlookup to see if i happened to get a trophy, or the "altador cup." I went there and by my um, defender of neopia trophy is a Lutari Talisman. I clicked on it not knowing what it was, and it took me to another page requesting i put beads on it? Has anyone else noticed the talisman and has anyone else found any beads or anything? Any information on this is appreciated.

Every member, {including New Member} have the Lutari talismin {sp} I dont know how it works, but it says something about finding the beads all around neopia. And yet, when I use the search box to find the beads, it says they dont exist. So I dont know. But I'm sure, who ever has them, can get a nice profit off of them.

I've heard about the Lutari beads are Random Events too , but I don't know if it would be more usually if you're subscribe to the Neopets Mobile Service, because Lutari Island is a promotion for cell phones!

Edit- And about altador cup: the prizes will be realeased next week! It's in news!

You've got to find or collect them. I've only seen one person with them and they wanted 380k upwards to 800k for a single bead...

I found a Red Oranu Bead in a random event...then I sold it for 150k.

Yeah, I want to sell mine, but I thought the RE might be a bug so I told TNT it would be waiting in my SDB for them.

You coulda made more than twice that value... someone just had a laugh on you my friend... i didn't see one bead sold at less than 310k...

I sold mine for 200k and a codestone. I proably could have held out for more, but people on the Neoboards were laughing at me for asking for 300k, so I figured I might as well play it safe and grab the offer while I had it.

Oh yay glad they arent just for the mobile users as we can't download the lutari thing in new zealand with our mobile phone companys!

Can you fill the whole thing with beads? and if so I wonder what happens? Id be selling them for as much np as possible if I found any at the moment since for now they seem quite rare. Im guessing since they have started appearing in REs that they will soon pretty much come down to say.. codestone/dubloon type prices.

Legend has it that when certain beads are placed on the Talisman, the bearer's luck throughout Neopia increases. We cannot reveal too much, but should you find a bead during your travels, it might be a good idea to place it on your Talisman right away.

Beads can be obtained by referring a friend who then signs up for Neopets Mobile, via Random Events as you explore Neopia, and other ways that have yet to be discovered.

interesting... just read this now. increase your luck eh? maybe its another way of increasing luck wiht good REs rather then just being a premium member
