For Neopets ONLY discussion.

I have submitted a story to the Neopian Times three times. The first time, it was rejected due to formating, which I fixed. The other two times, the rejection letter said that there were too many submissions in the catagory and there wasn't enough room. Is this just a nice way of telling me that my story won't be on there? You can read my story in the Ye Olde PPT Gallery

Resubmit it come next issue. Sometimes you submit your entry too late when
other spots have already been filled.
Don't worry. If they were to reject you permanently, they would have said why- too many entries is not an excuse to politely blow you off.

Honestly, TNT does get a lot of stories from people. Your best bet would be to keep submitting it and hope that they accept it. In the meantime, you could write another story, or perhaps an article or a comic.

The "...too many good submissions" is the best response to get. It means that, if they didn't already have a full issue, they would have printed your submission.
Resubmit. It means your work is submit-worthy!

But when is the best time to submit. I always did mine on the day the new edition came out, and will always get a neomail 3 days later saying too many entries. Would be nice to know how behind I am in the queue..
